Larkin Malloy as impostor Jeff Brown

JEFFERSON BROWN

FIRST APPEARANCE:October 1980
LAST APPEARANCE:February 1, 1982
EXIT:Died in St. Moritz after being shot by Libby Webster.
PERFORMER:Larkin Malloy (1980-82). Peter Alyea (1981). *NOTE*: Peter Alyea appeared only in pre-plastic surgery flashbacks.
SPOUSE:Raven Alexander (June 1981-February 1982).
LOVERS:Martine Duval.
OCCUPATION:Wealthy empressario of the arts and former State Department employee.
VILLAINOUS ACTS:Jeff Brown assumed the real Sky Whitney's identity after he and Whitney were involved in a plane crash over the Swiss Alps. Jeff had his face surgically altered at Dr. Kenneth Bryson's Lucerne clinic, then moved to Monticello pretending to be Sky. Eventually, Jeff murdered Romeo Slade (a hitman he'd hired to kill Raven), chauffeur Gunther Wagner (who blackmailed Sky about the Slade plot), and Bobbie Gerard ( a waitress who was trying to prove that Sky killed Gunther). While attempting to kill Raven in the Swiss Alps, Jeff was himself killed by Libby Webster, a young woman who was helping the real Sky (who hadn't died) reclaim his life and fortune.
FUN FACT:Originally, the death of Jefferson Brown was supposed to be the end of actor Larkin Malloy's run on Edge. However, Malloy proved so popular with fans that writer Henry Slesar devised Malloy's return as the real Sky Whitney.
