FUN FACTS:Actress Kim Hunter was the first actress to play more than two parts on one serial at the same time. Hunter played Nola Madison, Hester Atherton (a witch in the movie Mansion of the Damned), Rachel Barnes (a street vendor upon whom Nola based Hester's appearance), and Martha Corey (the identity Nola assumed to poison neighbor Deborah Saxon). Kim Hunter joked that she never would have accepted the role on Edge if she had known the part would require extensive, complicated makeup sessions (Hunter endured a grueling experience in a makeup artist's chair as Zira in three "Planet of the Apes" motion pictures).
