JANUARY 5 - 9, 1981:
Raven claimed that Kelly was at the Unicorn the night of Elliot's murder. Derek taught Raven how to fire a gun. April moved out of the apartment before Draper could tell Emily that he wants nothing to do with her or the baby, though he will support them financially. Logan returned and urged April to reconcile with Draper. Jody survived the transplant operation. Martine cuddled with Gavin, while Sky entertained Raven, Geraldine, and Deborah. April dreamed that Draper and Emily slept in separate beds. Emily searched for Matt Sharkey. Molly arrived at Raven's and confronted her about who she saw leaving Elliot's murder scene.

JANUARY 12 - 16, 1981:
Molly confessed that she had accidentally murdered Nadine, after putting poison in Raven's sugar bowl to kill April, who was scheduled for a visit. Molly stabbed Elliot and Cliff, too, beacuse they were getting too close to the truth. After her confession to Raven, Molly admitted that she was going to murder April, then during a struggle over Raven's gun, Molly shot Raven. Later, in Oakdale, Molly tried to kill April with poisoned tea, but April didn't drink it. Deborah assumed that Raven had skipped town, when Deb couldn't find her. Draper and Miles tried to convince April to return to Monticello. April discovered Molly, who trapped April in the house. During a struggle with Molly, April fell and was knocked unconscious. Molly made a noose and prepared to hang April from the basement rafters.

JANUARY 19 - 23, 1981:
Before she could hang April, Molly fell to her death down a flight of stairs after seeing Raven, who hadn't been shot since Derek loaded the gun with blanks. Emily remembered seducing Matt Sharkey, who actually fathered her baby. Emily lashed out at April, blaming her for Molly's death. Emily told Draper that she'd die if he cuts off all ties with her and the baby.

JANUARY 26 - 30, 1981:
Nancy suspected that Emily's baby was fathered by Sharkey. Nancy spoke with Bobbie Gerard, Sharkey's old girlfriend, who then vanished. Geraldine asked Raven to move in her with her since Raven's place now hold too many unhappy memories. Raven accepted the offer and moved in to get closer to Sky. Gunther mistakenly reported to Sky that Martine met secretly with Miles, of whom Sky is jealous.

FEBRUARY 2 - 6, 1981:
Gunther warned Miles to stay away from Martine. Sky romanced Raven, just as Raven had hoped. Nancy found Bobbie, who told her that Sharkey is working in a clinic in Eastmeadows. Calvin and Nancy both planned a trip to San Francisco to trail underworld crimelord Ira Gideon. Mike was appointed Monticello's new district attorney. Later, Mike grew frantic when Nancy never arrived in San Francisco.

FEBRUARY 9 - 13, 1981:
Calvin and Mike met in San Francisco, but were unable to uncover any leads on Nancy, who has seemingly vanished. Draper spent the night on Emily's sofa, after Emily experienced pregnancy complications. April found Emily and Draper together and refused to accept Draper's explanation of the incident. It was revealed that Nancy is completely swathed in bandages and is being held captive in a mysterious location.

FEBRUARY 16 - 20, 1981:
Nancy is being held captive at the Rexford Institute by Sharkey and Dr. Kenneth Bryson. Jody rejoined the Whitney dance troupe. Gavin told Calvin that a masked man had assaulted him years ago outside a New York nightclub, braeking his leg and ending his dancing career. Gavin suspects that Sky was responsible for the assault. Sharkey ordered Bobbie to keep mum about Nancy's visit. Mike was desperate to find Nancy.

FEBRUARY 23 - 27, 1981:
Sharkey and Beth Bryson, Dr. Bryson's jealous wife, tormented Nancy. Nancy realized that she's being held at the Rexford because she saw something she shouldn't have. A drunken Gunther confessed to Raven that he had broken Gavin's leg to keep Gavin away from Martine, but later, Raven told Gavin that Sky was responsible for the crime.

MARCH 2 - 6, 1981:
Nancy discovered that she had seen underworld crimelord Ira Gideon, who is undergoing plastic surgery at the Rexford to alter his appearance and escape prosecution. Ira is using the name Mr. Kincaid. April pretended to be Emily, then searched for Sharkey after Bobbie told her that Nancy had been asking questions about Sharkey. An apalled Martine severed her relationship with Sky when she learned that Sky had paid Gunther to break Gavin's leg.

MARCH 9 - 13, 1981:
April posed as June, a gum-chewing tramp, and made her way to the Rexford. Later, April met Sharkey and barely escaped his sexual advances. April accidentally stumbled into Nancy's room but didn't recognize her because of the bandages. April accepted a waitress job with Sid Brennan at a luncheonette near the clinic. Mike refused to believe that Nancy has met with foul play and suspected that Nancy never actually left Monticello.

MARCH 16 - 20, 1981:
Sky revealed Martine's checkered past as a thief to Gavin, who didn't believe the story. Later, Gavin confronted Martine, and she tearfully admitted that Sky was telling the truth. Sharkey tried to force himself on April. Mike identified Nancy's bracelet, which Gideon's men planted in San Francisco. Mike feared that Nancy might be dead. Draper learned that April has gone to Eastmeadows in search of Sharkey.

MARCH 23 - 27, 1981:
April escaped Sharkey's advances. Draper arrived in Eastmeadows and assumed the name Richie Johnson. April realized that Nancy is the bandaged patient. Draper and April reconciled, then Draper got a job as an orderly at the Rexford to rescue Nancy. Cliff told Mike that Draper fathered Emily's baby. Raven considered moving in with Sky

MARCH 30 - April 3, 1981:
Draper quit the Rexford after finding a stranger in Nancy's room, unaware that Nancy had been switched to another room. Dr. Bryson promised Nancy that he'd let Mike know that Nancy didn't die. Sky gave Raven the jewels that Martine returned to him. Damian remembered Martine from Paris, where Sky had been robbed by a jewel thief. Emily learned that April and Draper are in Eastmeadows looking for Sharkey.

APRIL 6 - 10, 1981:
Dr. Bryson admitted that he's falling in love with Nancy, whom he kissed. Emily arrived in Eastmeadows. Gavin proposed to Martine, but she refused. Gavin was jealous when Damian came to see Martine at the dance studio. Sky forced Raven to dump Derek. Raven feared that she'd lose Sky to Jody if she didn't obey Sky's wishes.

APRIL 13 - 17, 1981:
Sharkey and Beth plotted to kill Nancy. Nancy considered sleeping with Dr. Bryson to escape the clinic. Emily met with Sharkey and warned him that April and Draper are on his trail. Gavin stormed out on Martine when Damian revealed that Martine is still married to jewel thief Collier Wells. Raven accused Sky of using Jody to make Martine jealous. Martine planned to commit suicide.

APRIL 20 - 24, 1981:
Damian saved Martine who jumped off a bridge. Miles treated Martine. Jody became Sky's principal dancer. Geraldine applauded Raven's decision not to live with Sky. Beth and Sharkey set a trap for Nancy. Damian told Gavin that he's positive Martine loved Collier. A desperate Mike sought advice from professional psychic Zelda Moffett, who told Mike that Nancy is in another man's arms.

APRIL 27 - MAY 1, 1981:
Ira refused to pay Dr. Bryson unless Nancy is eliminated. April accused Sharkey of fathering Emily's child, but Sharkey denied it. Later, Sharkey caused Bryson's colleague Dr. Arnold Featherstone to have a stroke after Featherstone recognized Nancy's picture in a magazine article. Damian kept mum that he was the stranger who saved Martine's life. Beth prepared a lethal injection for Nancy.

MAY 4 - 8, 1981:
Featherstone died after showing Nancy's picture to Draper. Dr. Bryson saved Nancy from Beth's fatal injection. Raven accepted Derek's marriage proposal. Valerie Bryson, Dr. Bryson's daughter, arrived at the Rexford. Sharkey suggested that Dr. Bryson perform plastic surgery on Nancy, altering her appearance.

MAY 11 - 15, 1981:
Dr. Bryson decided to change Nancy's face then take her to Europe sans Beth and Sharkey. Emily met Valerie. Valerie recognized Emily's photo of Draper, whom she'd seen at the Rexford. Sky believed that Raven's using him to make Derek jealous. Martine became more attached to Miles.

MAY 18 - 22, 1981:
Despite Nancy's pleas for him to let her go, Dr. Bryson took Nancy into surgery, intending to perform plastic surgery on her. Emily got wise to Valerie, who met Draper and agreed to help him prove that Sharkey fathered Emily's baby. Emily grew suspicious of Valerie's intentions. Raven hoped that Sky would prevent her from marrying Derek.

MAY 25 - 29, 1981:
Dr. Bryson told Nancy that he faked her plastic surgery to fool Beth, Sharkey, and Ira. Collier Wells arrived in Monticello. Raven pumped Gunther about Sky's reaction to the news that she's engaged to Derek. Kelly made a scene after catching Jody having an intimate dinner with Sky. Draper discovered Nancy, who told him all about The Bryson's and Ira Gideon.

JUNE 1 - 5, 1981:
Beth and Sharkey caught Draper with Nancy, then they held Nancy, Draper, April, and Dr. Bryson hostage at the hospital. Martine pretended to leave for New York, but she actually shared a hotel room with Collier, who's calling himself Carlo Crown. Carlo planned to open a photography studio in Monticello and rekindle his relationship with Martine. Miles spoke with Nicole, who will be returning to Monticello.

JUNE 8 - 12, 1981:
Mike and Calvin arrived at the Rexford just in time to save Nancy, April, Draper, and Dr. Bryson. Sharkey admitted that he fathered Emily's baby. Sharkey, the Bryson's, and Ira were all arrested. With all of her lies exposed, a scorned Emily left Monticello. Sky proposed to Raven. Martine told Gavin that she's staying in Monticello. April learned that she's pregnant. Nicole returned from Key West.

JUNE 15 - 19, 1981:
Derek was devastated when Raven called off their engagement. Damian unsuccessfully attempted to talk Raven out of marrying Sky. Sky bought the Whitney Mansion as a wedding present for Raven. Nancy played mother hen to Valerie, but Kelly harbored animosity toward Val because she's Dr. Bryson's daughter. Valerie joined Carlo's photography studio. Sid agreed to manage the Unicorn for April. Draper left to investigate Dr. Bryson's criminal activities in Europe. Sky slapped Raven after catching her snooping in his "secret room".

JUNE 22 - 26, 1981:
Mike believed that Valerie might be in danger because of her father's criminal activities. Valerie remembered knowing Sky in Switzerland. Not recognizing Carlo as Collier, Sky hired him to photograph the wedding. April and Sid hired Bobbie Gerard to waitress at the Unicorn, which April plans to remodel as a country-and-western tavern. Kelly warmed to Valerie.

JUNE 29 - JULY 3, 1981:
Raven lifted the key to Sky's secret room. Sky threatened to paralyze Gavin if he interferes with Jody. Valerie recalled spending time with Sky in Switzerland and her romance with a bandaged army officer named Jim Dedrickson. Cliff and Kelly vied for Val's attention. Calvin and Star had marital problems when Star announced that she's leaving for an extended singing engagement in San Francisco.

JULY 6 - 10, 1981:
Gavin and Jody concealed their mutual passion at Sky and Raven's wedding. Miles caught Gunther throwing darts at a photo of Sky. Calvin clashed with attorney Didi Bannister. In Sky's secret room, Raven found a photograph of Sky, Valerie, and a man named Jefferson Brown. Damian suspected that Carlo is really Collier Wells, who Damian pursued in Paris after Collier robbed Sky. Martine denied Damian's accusations that Carlo is actually her husband.

JULY 13 - 17, 1981:
Jody informed an enraged Sky that she's going to withdraw from the dance troupe. Sky blamed Gavin for Jody's decision. Derek learned that Damian isn't using his surname Wilcox. Damian refused to explain why he's concealing his true identity. Calvin and Didi clashed in court. Derek told Miles that Gunther doesn't have a criminal record, but Roxanne Walker, Gunther's last girlfriend, is confined to a state mental hospital. Raven noticed that Jeff Brown and Sky have the exact same scar on their back, then she wondered if she might really be married to Jeff Brown instead of Sky. Dr. Bryson suffered a severe heart attack.

JULY 20 - 24, 1981:
Dr. Bryson died in prison. Mike and Nancy promised to help Valerie recover from her father's death. Gunther picked up Jody in Sky's limousine then terrorized her. Raven asked Nancy to investigate Sky's past in Switzerland. Sky overheard Nancy tell Raven that Sky was involved in a plane crash that killed fellow passenger Jeff Brown. Sky feared that Raven is getting too close to the truth and decided to knock her off. Miles was enraged to learn about Gunther's sexual advances toward Jody.

JULY 27 - 31, 1981:
It was revealed that Sky is indeed Jefferson Brown. Sky (Jeff) remembered seeing the real Sky, whose body was carried into a mountain crevasse along with the wreckage of their plane. Sky (Jeff) then pretended to be Jim Dedrickson while awaiting facial reconstruction at Dr. Bryson's clinic in Lucerne. Miles and Damian confronted Gunther, warning him to shape up or face criminal charges for terrorizing Jody. Fearful that Raven knows his secret, Sky hired hitman Romeo Slade to kill Raven.

AUGUST 3 - 7, 1981:
Romeo hired smalltime thug Sammy Wheaton to mug Raven and swipe her purse. Romeo got the keys to the Whitney Mansion, then returned Raven's purse to a very grateful Raven. Sky and Gunther left for a fake Chicago business trip so Sky will have an alibi when Raven is murdered. Dr. Bryson left a letter to Valerie, which Mike thinks contains info about plastic surgery patients. Damian was suspicious of Raven's mugging.

AUGUST 10 - 14, 1981:
Romeo assaulted Geraldine, who arrived unexpectedly at the mansion. Romeo ransacked the house, while holding Raven at gunpoint. Sky had a change of heart and fled back to Monticello to stop Raven's execution. Just as Romeo was about to pull the trigger, Sky broke down the door and shot Romeo, who died. Valerie remembered knowing the real Sky Whitney. Damian hinted that he knows about Sky's criminal past and suspected that Sammy Wheaton had swiped Raven's purse.

AUGUST 17 - 21, 1981:
Sky confessed to Raven that he's Jeff Brown and admitted that Dr. Bryson altered his appearance so Jeff could attain Sky's fortune. Raven happily agreed to keep Jeff's secret and spend Sky's money. Gunther suspected that Sky hired Romeo to kill Raven, then he broke into Sky's secret room to prove his suspicions. Sammy confessed to lifting Raven's purse for Romeo. Sid realized that Bobbie is falling in love with Gavin, who is romancing Jody.

AUGUST 24 - 28, 1981:
Sky ordered Gunther to "take care" of Gavin, who quit the dance company along with Jody. Gunther blackmailed Sky into giving him Sky's treasured pocket watch, then Gunther warned that it's only the beginning. Damian suspects that Jeff Brown survived the plane crash along with Sky. Gunther manhandled Jody again. April decided to join Draper in Europe and offered the penthouse to Miles and Nicole. Valerie learned that her father's letter indicates that Jim Dedrickson (Jeff Brown) might be in Monticello. Nancy suggested that Val advertise her story to bring Jim forward. Damian told Derek that Jefferson Brown had stolen government documents, and framed Damian's father Fowler Wilcox, who committed suicide.

AUGUST 31 - SEPTEMBER 4, 1981:
Sky concocted a scheme to goad Gavin into shooting Gunther with blanks, then forcing Gavin to leave town rather than be convicted of Gunther's "murder". Gunther threatened Gavin, who bought a gun for protection. Gunther broke into the dance studio and switched the real bullets with blanks. Marcus, one of Didi's punk clients, held Didi at knifepoint. Calvin rescued a thankful Didi who suddenly kissed him in gratitude. Valerie showed Kelly a photo of a bandaged Jim Dedrickson, a picture she had secretly snapped. Miles, Nicole, and Jody moved into April's penthouse. Nancy wrote a feature article about Jim. Gunther trapped Jody in the dance studio.

SEPTEMBER 7 - 11, 1981:
Gavin came to Jody's rescue and later struggled over the gun with Gunther. After the gun went off, Gavin fled the dance studio, thinking he had killed Gunther, then Sky arrived and shot Gunther with live ammunition. Miles came to help Gunther, but Sky knocked Miles unconscious. Before Gunther died, he mentioned Sky's pocketwatch to Miles. Sky removed the watch from Gunther's body. Gavin returned to the studio to turn himself in, but fled when he saw a cop, who fired shots. Raven feared that Nancy's feature story on Jim will lead back to Sky.

SEPTEMBER 14 - 18, 1981:
Gavin, who was shot in the leg, turned to Bobbie for help. Bobbie spirited him away to her abandoned childhood home, after Jody, Didi, and Calvin realized where Gavin was hiding. Gunther's autopsy revealed that he had been shot from at least ten feet away, which contradicted Gavin's claims of a close struggle. Derek pressed for Gavin's arrest. Sky tried to incriminate Miles in Gunther's murder. Collier planned to rob the Whitney Mansion on the dance company's opening night and promised to grant Martine a divorce if she helps him. Nicole hired newcomer Nora Fulton as an executive secretary. Matt Sharkey turned up at Bobbie's abandoned house.

SEPTEMBER 21 - 25, 1981:
Gavin was indicted for Gunther's murder. Jody learned where Gavin was hiding and followed him, only to be taken hostage by Sharkey, who's also holding Gavin and Bobbie. Derek learned about Sharkey's prison break and suspected that Sharkey might be hiding at Bobbie's old house. Sharkey found an old shotgun and fired a shot at Gavin. It was revealed that Nora Fulton has a past association with Gunther.

SEPTEMBER 28 - OCTOBER 2, 1981:
Sharkey was injured when the gun backfired, shooting him in the chest. Derek arrived to arrest Sharkey, but Gavin and Jody escaped. Later, Gavin and Jody holed up in a rooming house run by Mrs. Arnold and her son Benny. The Arnold's recognized Gavin and demanded money to keep quiet. Nora, who is Gunther's former girlfriend Roxanne Walker, blamed Miles for Gunther's death and plotted to make the Cavanaugh's pay. Spencer Varney applied for Gunther's old job. Sid hired ditzy Mitzi Martin to replace Bobbie.

OCTOBER 5 - 9, 1981:
As opening night at the Whitney theater neared, Carlo prepared to rob Sky and Raven. Damian commented to Martine that history seems to be repeating itself, since Sky was robbed opening night in Paris. Martine tried to stop Carlo, but was too late. Carlo successfully broke into the Whitney mansion. Cliff took Mitzi to the opening, but Didi refused to attend with Calvin. Mrs. Arnold allowed Jody to leave for ransom money and held Gavin hostage. Martine was a brilliant success onstage. Damian arrived at the Whitney mansion and caught Carlo, who was stealing the pocketwatch Sky had removed from Gunther's body the day of the murder.

OCTOBER 12 - 16, 1981:
Collier escaped from Damian. Martine confided to Jody that Collier lifted the watch, but Collier later returned the watch along with Sky's other possessions. A strange man stalked Valerie. Calvin was jealous that Didi is dating attorney Julius Newcombe. Mrs. Arnold called the cops on Gavin, but he and Jody managed to escape before Derek arrived. Damian caught up with Collier, who was planning to give Martine her freedom then leave town.

OCTOBER 19 - 23, 1981:
Martine and Collier left Monticello together after Damian agreed to let them go. Gavin and Jody broke into the Whitney mansion to steal Sky's pocketwatch. Valerie's apartment was broken into. Sky gave Spencer a gun. Damian revealed to Sky and Raven that Spencer killed two men for his last employer, but Spencer claimed it was in self-defense. Sky and Raven left for a trip to New York. It was revealed that Gunther, Nora, and Spencer all worked for a man named Bowie years ago.

OCTOBER 26 - 30, 1981:
Sky returned early and caught Gavin stealing the watch. Sky fired shots at Gavin who fled the mansion and got away. Spencer discovered Jody hiding in the attic. Miles treated terminally ill actress Jinx Avery. Cliff and Mitzi are becoming lovey-dovey. Mrs. Goodman was suspicious of Nora, who made subtle insinuations about Miles and Jinx.

NOVEMBER 2 - 6, 1981:
Valerie confronted her stalker who admitted that he's Jim Dedrickson, her former flame from Bryson's clinic. Jody told Mike about the pocketwatch and Sky's possible involvement in Gunther's death. Gavin went to the bus station and planned to flee to Los Angeles. Mike, Derek, and Jody confronted Sky about the pocketwatch, but the watch didn't play the same distinctive tune that Jody and Gavin had heard Gunther's play.

NOVEMBER 9 - 13, 1981:
Jinx turned to Miles for help after she was caught shoplifting an expensive necklace. Raven warned Sky that Damian thinks Jeff framed Damian's father for stealing government documents, but Sky denied the crime. Jody agreed to leave town with Gavin, Nora eavesdropped on the conversation and called the cops with Gavin's location. Gavin was arrested for Gunther's murder.

NOVEMBER 16 - 20, 1981:
Gavin was jailed, and no one believed his story that he killed Gunther in self-defense. Mike suggested that Gavin recant his story and change his plea to guilty. Nora followed Miles to a meeting with Jinx. Bobbie replaced Chrissie as the Whitney's maid after Raven caught Sky oogling Chrissie's tight uniform. Bobbie hoped to steal the pocketwatch and exonerate Gavin. Mitzi joined Jim's new repertory theater which is housed in the old dance studio. After proving his identity to Valerie with facts about their past relationship, Jim remembered researching Jim (Jeff) and Valerie's past in Switzerland.

NOVEMBER 23 - 27, 1981:
Calvin declared his love to Didi. Spencer prevented Bobbie from stealing Sky's watch, which she accidentally broke. Sky realized that Bobbie is working to clear Gavin's name. Raven and Geraldine speculated about Fowler Wilcox's relationship with Jeff Brown. Bobbie found Sky's jeweler who she thinks sold Sky a second pocketwatch.

NOVEMBER 30 - DECEMBER 4, 1981:
Bobbie had the watch repaired where the owner Mr. Hoffman admitted that he sold Sky a duplicate pocketwatch. Sky arrived and forced Bobbie to leave with him. Sky forced Bobbie to sign a confession to stealing the watch, then he demanded that she leave town permanently. Later, Bobbie's murdered corpse was found in the woods. Nora battled with Mrs. Goodman who is wise to Nora's true nature. Nora made insinuations that Miles is having an affair with Jinx. Derek assigned Damian to nail racketeer Eddie Lorimer.

DECEMBER 7 - 11, 1981:
Calvin discovered that the pocketwatch was missing from Bobbie's body. Derek dated Jinx, who was befriended by Nancy. Derek made it appear that he suspended Damian. Damian went undercover to nail Eddie Lorimer. Sky made plans to whisk Raven off to Switzerland on a second honeymoon. Nora's insinuations about Miles and Jinx started to get to Nicole.

DECEMBER 14 - 18, 1981:
Sky blew Damian's cover with Eddie Lorimer. Damian learned from Eddie's associate Chummy Davis that Gunther bought a box of blank cartridges just days before the murder. The government seized all of Valerie's inheritance. Nora pursued Spencer. Jinx and Derek got closer. Sky's jeweler Mr. Hoffman died suddenly and mysteriously. Eddie had Damian stabbed.

DECEMBER 21 - 25, 1981:
Jinx was hospitalized with another relapse of her illness. Mike confided to Geraldine that he suspects Sky killed Gunther. Sky slapped Raven who was upset about Damian's stabbing. Damian survived the knife attack. Eddie and Chummy were arrested for Damian's assault.

DECEMBER 28, 1981 - JANUARY 1, 1982:
Mike and Geraldine confronted Raven with all of the evidence against Sky, but Raven refused to believe that he could have had any responsibility in Gunther's death. Raven couldn't forgive Geraldine for betraying Sky. Jinx was released from the hospital and joined Jim Dedrickson's theater. Mike arranged for Gavin to be released into the Cavanaugh's custody until his trial begins.
