While
Ash and Misty are off into the Viridian Forest, Ash was just
about to catch a Caterpie. "Pokéball, GO!" he says, as
he throws the pokéball. Caterpie gets caught inside the
pokéball, while it wiggles up and down.. then POOF! The Caterpie
is caught! Ash's very first pokémon! Misty pukes over the little
insect.. (she really hates bugs) Later that night, Ash and the
gang camp outside, Misty still hagging over the poor Caterpie.
Pikachu and Caterpie sit on a stump, talking in Pokéneese.
"Piiiika pikachuuuu!" "Weh...wehh!!!!! (I know
that is not Caterpie's cry!) They both admire the full moon that
is up. After a while, they spot a Pidgetto! Ash sends out
Caterpie, not knowing that bug pokémon are weak against flying
pokémon, and Caterpie is toast! Then Ash hulls back Caterpie, as
he sends out Pikachu, where electric pokémon are strong against
bird pokémon, and frys the Pidgetto, while Ash catches another
pokémon! Two pokémon in one day! Cool! Then who comes crashing
in on the party? TEAM ROCKET, again! They are after the Pikachu,
knowing now how strong it is! They have a battle, where Caterpie
shows off its best! It string shots Team Rocket, sending them to
run off. And even more surprises, Caterpie evolves into a
Metapod! Ash sticks Metapod into his backpack, and continues on
his pokémon adventure......... knowing that there are much more
pokémon to catch, and much more of the world to see.......
