ITEM DUPLICATION! (very very useful!)

Make sure to have a pokemon that can fly and one to surf

Talk to the man(in the top left edge of town) in Viridian city, answer "no" to his question.

When he's finished talking press "start" go to "items" put any item you want 199 of in the 6th spot.

Fly to Cinnabar island

Go directly to the east shore and use surf

Go up and down dirrectly on the cost, you'll eventually fight a missingno or another unnumbered pokemon

RUN from the first one you see, check your 6th item, there should be a strange symbol and a 9 by it

Congrats.! you just got alot of items! i.e. hp up, pp up, masterball, whatever you want (excluding special items like bicycle)

INVISIBLE PC

In Celadon City go to the hotel and go all the way to the right wall, now face the counter with one space between you and it. Now press A. A menu will pop up like you are on a PC. You can do everything on it.

POKEeMON DUPLICATION

Here is a trick to duplicate your pokemon.

This works on the American versions. I will try to explain it as good as I can. For this trick to work, you need both games and two gameboys.

Here is what you do: Put the pokemon you want duplicated into one of the games. Either red or blue. Let's use red for an example. Put a pokemon you don't mind losing in the other cartridge. Which is blue. Go to the trade center and trade the pokemon you want duplicated (red) with the one you want to erase (blue).

After they are traded, leave the game (blue) on with the pokemon you erased and turn the game (red) off with the pokemon you wanted duplicated, before the "Trade Completed" sign appears, right after the "Waiting..." sign disappears.

If you did the steps right, the game (red) with the pokemon you wanted duplicated should still be there and the one you erased on the other game (blue) should be the same as the one you traded. I tried to explain it as best as I could so don't get mad at me if you can't get it working. Note: This might mess up your game, but I had no trouble with it. If anything happens to your game please do not put the blame on me.

GREAT BALLS ACT AS MASTER BALLS

As soon as you throw your Great Ball, hold Up + B. This trick may now work all the time.

FIGHT SAFARI ZONE POKeMON OUTSIDE!

To fight and capture Safari Zone Pokemon outside of the park, first go into the park. Let the time run out when you're standing in a patch of grass which holds the Pokemon you want to catch. Step back outside and use FLY to Fly back to Cinnabar Island. Using SURF, surf up and down the right side of the shoreline, where you are half on shore and half in the water. You should then enter some battles with Safari Zone Pokemon! No more bait or rocks! It's sleep and Psybeam time! This also works with other areas of the game. Experiment and see what happens!

HARDER HITS

When your Pokemon attacks, hold A and your Pokemon's attack will be more powerful!

GET PIKABLU AND ANOTHER SECRET POKéMON!

I can get Pikablu, And a secrect pokemon called "Vennipen". To Get Pikablu beat the elite four with a goldeen,two pikachu,a raichu,And Two Flying type Pokemon.Then talk to:your mom,then,Dr Oak,Then goto your PC.Deposit your two flying type and take out two more pokemon.goto the safari zone and then catch a Tauros.Deposit all your Pokemon,Except your tarous.Now get a moon stone.Spend all of your Money!

SECRET OFFICE

This cheat is realy hard and you have to be in time. First go to Power Plant. Fight with Voltorb and after you fight with Voltorb, quickly check the rock in the Power Plant, because you can go through one of the rock and the rock is changing every time, so it could be any rock. You can only go through to that rock in 10 second. After you go through one of the rock, the game will send you to Secret Office. In Secret Office, you can find a pokeball and inside the pokeball is Pikablu. You will see a hole too. If you go to the hole, the game will send you to the grass area in the side of Pallet Town.!

POKEMON HALL OF FAME

If you want to stay in the Hall of Fame, just beat Elite 4. 30 times without turning your games off. If you beat Elite 4, 100 times, you can get HM 06(blast). If you have this HM, you can go to the grass area in the side of Pallet Town. In the Pokemon Hall of Fame, you can trade a bad pokemon for a rare pokemon, like Pidgey for Mew

STANDING ON A TREE!

This is a silly cheat. First, cut the tree, then stand on the area where the tree is. Save your game and turn your game off. Turn your game on again. You will see your body is on the tree.

CINNABAR GYM CHEAT

This one lets you get to the gym leader without having to fight the other trainers. When you walk through do you notice the computers. Go up and talk to them. It lets you open the gates by taking a quiz. Just do this all the way through. It's also a great way to test your knowledge of Pokemon.

CATCH MEWTWO WITH A ULTRA BALL

To capture Mewtwo in an Ultra Ball take at least 3 Ultra Balls with you to the Unknown Dungeon.(You must be a League champ first). Go find Mewtwo and Save the game before you assume battle mode with him. He is an icon that stands alone on a island. The icon looks just like Nidorino's icon and Snorlax's icon when they are in your list of 6 Pokemon. Enter the battle and have a Pokemon that is outfitted with the skills: Thunder Wave, Sleep powder, and Ice beam. Have a Pokemon at least at level 40. Do not worry Mewtwo is much, much stronger than you think. If Mewtwo is at level 100 he is more like your first PKMN at level 105. The thunder wave works best if you weaken him alot. After weakening him and Paralizing him use an Ultra Ball. I don't think you needed 3 Ultra balls because when he is weak and paralized he is your's in one shot!!!
