TV Series' style need changes
Many
people commented that "Till When Do Us Part" frankly admitted to copy Japanese
series, but TV series all the while had been copying. The question is whether
this has a turning point one day. TV series often copy scripts unscrupulously.
(Movie also doing the same). Sometimes it form another kind of pleasure
when audiences try to trace the originality from a certain plot, one series
form two delights. Some donkey years back, "Kong Kuai Lok Lei" copied 'Song
Bwen Cheng Cheung's (Jap. writer) Inference Novel'. Many years now, 'DIF'
copied 'Yat Chun Chi Long's script, even well received series 'Healing
Hands' was copying. There was a scene where Bowie unforgetting his 'late
wife' was copied from "To Gillian on her 37th Birthday". Overall, many
plots were copied from somewhere. However, there is a strange logic in
TV series, when it suppose to be a brand new creation, we found many copied
ingrediences in the 'new creation' from other's work. On the other hand,
when we expect to see familiar plots from those 'rearrange/adapt from original
script's script', we found 'total fresh new creations'in it until we couldn't
recognize it from the original one.
"Till
When Do Us Part" was admitted by its producer to be a rearrange/adapt series
from Jap series "Seng Tien Lei Fun". They go to the extreme by which the
character's names are also very Japanese. They copied it frankly.
