Cameron  Mathison (Ryan  Lavery)
Cameron Mathison joined the cast of "All My Children" in January 1998 as Ryan Lavery. While he struggles with his undying love for ex-wife Gillian, Ryan has to make the ultimate decision of moving on with his life, or waiting for his true love. Will Ryan and Gillian ever find lasting happiness together?
Born and raised in Canada, Mathison made his feature film debut in the 1998 Miramax release, 54. His television credits include F/X -- The Series and the television movie, Any Mother's Son, with Bonnie Bedelia.
Mathison attended McGill University in Montreal and graduated with a Bachelor of civil engineering degree and a 3.65 grade point average. 1999 started off with a bang for Cameron when he received the Outstanding Male Newcomer award at the Soap Opera Awards in Los Angeles. The summer was an equally exciting time for Mathison. He not only hosted ABC's live world premiere of Walt Disney's animated feature, Tarzan, he also lensed a Canadian independent feature, Washed Up.
In his time away from the set, Mathison is quite a sports enthusiast. He is a twelve-handicap golfer, an avid skier and is currently training for triathlons. Mathison, who has a passion for photography, can sometimes be found around Manhattan snapping the sights.
