Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin)
Kin Shriner created the role of Scotty Baldwin on General Hospital in 1977, and continued with the character, off and on, through the early '90s. Over the course of his long and rollicking run in Port Charles, Scotty progressed from a sweet, lovesick kid to a struggling law student, and finally, a sexy man with a heart of gold.
After being away from General Hospital for several years, Scotty dramatically returned to Port Charles, the spin-off, which premiered June 1, 1997. For Scott, passion and intrigue have always gone hand in hand. His recent marriage to soulmate Lucy Coe has completed the family Scott works hard to protect.
Shriner also appeared in the daytime dramas, Texas and Rituals; and the ABC miniseries, War and Remembrance; Echo, USA Television's Crying Child with Mariel Hemingway; and various theatrical movies, including Vendetta, Kidnapped and Angel III.
Shriner has been nominated for four Daytime Emmys and has been honored with numerous Soap Opera Awards, including a 1998 win for Oustanding Scene Stealer.
