Roxanne Hart was born in Trenton, the oldest of five children. While she was growing up, her father completed his graduate work and became a teacher, moving his family to New York.
Here she made her debut on Broadway as Jill in "Equus". Roxanne Hart traveled with the national touring company of the same show. Her other Broadway credits include "Loose Ends," "The Devil's Disciple" and "Passion" for which she received a Tony Award nomination.
Roxanne landed a starring role in "Once Around," and played in movies like "The Highlander," and "The Verdict."

On television she has had recurring roles in "Against the Law" and "Dream On," and guest-starred on "Law and Order." Her made-for-television movies include for example "Living a Lie", "The Last Innocent Man" and "Big Time".
