In this interview they talk about work, men and women fighting.

JAYNE BROOK:

DRAMATIC BIRTH:

Jayne has just been a mum in real life (in march) and on TV. On the 4th of March the pregnant woman shot the horrible scenes. In the series it was about lives, but the daughter Emily was well and healthy, even though there were complications.
A few days later the real birth started. Alexandra weighed 3,4 kilograms, and she came out as toasted bread, but every thing went well without any drama. Jayne and her husband John Terlesky are very happy that is wasn't the opposite !

* Has Alexandra changed your life?

Totally! All of my actions are for her well being.

* Has the mum-part been affecting your career?

She's a real sweety so she's worth everything.

COINCIDENCE

* How did you tell the Chicago Hope producers you were pregnant?

It went so perfect! They came to me and told me they wanted to let Dr.Grad get pregnant, and hoped I though that was okay.
It was like winning a lottery. Talk about coincidence. When I told them I was three months pregnant, it was just to get started.

* What was done with costumes and the make-up?

Men! They wanted me to use pillows and enclosure...But I told them: Not with me !.

* Do you want more children?

Yes, in a few years. Other actors go for their careers, but I think the private life is more important.

* Do you think your husband is a better father than Billy Kronk (Peter Berg) on the show ?

Yes, but it's in the script to make him a home-being father. That would mean that he's not going to be seen so often in Chicago Hope.
