As much as I would love it to be Mia Alice, I suppose the real star of this anime is the Dangaioh mecha and the robo-fighters that make it up. Designed by Shoji Kawamori, this is definitely the show's main draw card. Dangaioh has a range of devastating attacks, including the Dangaioh Beam, Psychic Wave and Spiral Knuckle. Even though it didn't use it much, it also has a Psychic Sword. This section is mainly to illustrate the superior technical design of the Dangaioh mecha. You've got to appreciate the amount of thought and effort that went into its creation.
