NOTES
- PLEASE NOTE: Story summaries for 1958-67 and 1971 are currently unavailable. They will be added at a future date. Please check the "What's New" section for additional updates.
- Detailed story summaries from 1956-1975 were created from many different sources. April 1956-May 1957 summaries were based on blurbs from TV GUIDE, as well as several magazine articles. Summaries from June 1957-1964, 1968, and 1971 are based on the original Procter and Gamble scripts. Additional storyline narratives were written by EON Homepage contributors, who are credited in the appropriate sections.
- The weekly story summaries from 1976-1984 were a combination of personal notes taken during the original run of "The Edge of Night" and summaries from a syndicated newspaper column entitled "WHAT'S HAPPENING". The WH column was written by the late Jon-Michael Reed.
- Please realize that creating this story archive is a daunting, demanding task. Individual years are being added on a sporadic basis, and at this time (mid-2001), it is unclear when the project will be completed.
