Matthias Hues was born in Frankfurt, Germany. 1986 he went to Hollywood, with
only 1400 Dollars. Soon he has no money left and he has to sleep in his car.
He worked (illegal) as picket and doorkeeper in a club. His first contact with
the film business was the movie "No Retreat, No Surrender 2" 1987, where he
played for 6000 dollar the villain russian commander. Then he was the bodyguard
for the widow of Bob Marley and her clan. He toured with Ziggy through the USA.
After that he had for about one and a half year no real job.
The next movie he "played" in, was "Fistfighter". He made no more movies for
about one year. Then he get his biggest role as alien drug dealer in the
Dolph Lundgren movie "Dark Angel". From then on, he mostly played a villain in
some martial arts movies like "TC 2000" or "Black Belt". Beneath that he had
supporting parts in "Star Trek VI" and the TV-series "Age of Treason".
In 1995 he gets his first leading part in the action movie "Digital Man".
He has established himself as a b-movie and supporting actor now.
