Ada was discovered by TVB in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant 1991 where she finished 2nd runnerup at the age of just 18. Amy Kwok was the winner that year. Ada then signed a contract with TVB and started her career in acting. Ada's first couple of TVB series were all evil role. Among those are "風之刀 - The Revelation of the Last Hero", "天倫 - The Link", and "如來神掌 - The Buddhist Palm Strikes Back." Her first image to everyone wasn't that great considering all her villain role. But that only mean one thing, her acting is great. Ada's first main role was in "白髮魔女傳 - Romance of the White Hair Maiden". She also starred in many other great TVB series such as "金牙大狀 - Man of Wisdom", "馬場大亨 - Racing Peak" and "壹號皇庭V - Files of Justice 5" are among the memorable. In 1998, Ada was unfortunately only in two TVB series but both are major productions: "妙手仁心 - Healing Hands" and "天地豪情 - Secret of the Heart". However, with just two series in 1998, she won the best actress and best couple with Lawrence Ng. Also, Healing Hands was the best series of the year and she was also a part of the series. Today, Ada's name is on the top of TVB's top actress. She acts great, look great, and hopefully she will act in more TVB series in the future for us to enjoy.
