Ranma Soatome-an ex-knight of the King Bakuchioh, Ranma
sets out to the castle with his poor father, Genma.
Genma Soatome-Ranma's father who is almost willing to do
anything to get a free handful of cash.
King Soun-the king of the castle, Soun and Genma who hadn't seen
each other in ten years arranged their kids engagement.
Princess Kasumi-the oldest daughter with the right to the throne.
Despite her being served by servants all her life, Kasumi enjoys
cooking for others in the castle. The only one not engaged,
King Soun wants his daughter to have the best choice possible.
Princess Nabiki-a girl who pretty much knows all the rumors,
Nabiki is engaged to Kuno, who's constantly out in battles.
Princess Akane-constantly trying to be more feminine and
good at showing it, Akane ends up with Ranma.
Nodoka-the head cook of the castle
Hiroshi and Daisuke-guards of King Soun
Hikaru Gosunkugi-the horse coach who secretly is into black magic.
He longs for Akane, but later changes his ways.
Shampoo-a wild but beautiful foreign gypsy who was supposedly
saved
by Mousse once a few years back. She may seem not that bright,
but
she is the expert at magic in the group and great at picking locks.
Kodachi-a witch who poses as a gypsy at a royal party to kidnap
Ranma
for high prices. She has the knowledge of Ranma keeping.
Happosai-a little old man who steals anything pretty and feminine,
and
works with Kodachi in their swampy lair.
Mousse-an owner of the store "Muu-Tzu's Weaponry," in Wonton
city
Mousse is an expert at using various weapons and some magic.
He
has a talent for fortune-telling.
Ryoga-a determined fighter sent to a concentration camp.
A city called
Tea Leaf had all it's warriors wiped out. Ryoga lost a fight
from Ranma
and searched for a town for some food. He had stayed in Tea Leaf
over-
night and was taken away.
Ukkyou-a kind elfly woman, Ukkyou was also taken from Tea Leaf.
She
and Ryoga were together alot in the camp by the numbers chosen, so
she
and Ryoga looked after each other.
Lt. (Ryuu) Kumon-the one held responsible for Ryoga's whipping
for his
attempt to escape.
Tofu-a poor servant who works in the castle. Nobody knows
the
cures better than him in this area. Him and Kasumi secretly see
each other, Kasumi aware that her father wouldn't approve of the
marriage.
King Bakuchioh-This spoiled king uses his powers unwisely, toasting
the night to another ball.
Mistress Tsubasa-The neice of King Bakuchioh. Tsubasa's
uncle
remains unaware of his manhood. Tsubasa became female to avoid
being a knight.
Konatsu-a forest-dweller, Konatsu hasn't come to yet realize
his joy in cross-dressing.
