Heart in Chains stars many characters, but mainly Ranma (an ex-knight
of the King Bakuchioh [or Gambling King) and Princess Akane.
The two have been engaged by their own parents which was
natural in medieval times.
Ranma and Genma have a party held for them the night they come
to King Soun's castle, mainly for the engagement. When a
seductive gypsy dances in (Kodachi), smoke bombs are released
by a theif (Happosai) and Ranma and the wild foreign gypsy
Shampoo are kidnapped. Akane sets out with the horse coach
who's carriage was stolen named Hikaru Gosunkugi, and meet
Mousse at a weapon shop in the city, Wonton.
I try to keep the original taste of the series, such as
coupling and relationships, although this is more . . .
emotional on the characters.
