Shampoo's Corner

Washu's theme from Tenchi Muyo
A spirited 16-year-old girl, Shampoo acts a lot younger than what she really is most of the time.  At least, when she's silly.  She is probably the lowest-intellegence person in the group, and a bit of a bubblehead.  Shampoo is a fun-loving character, but can be annoying on how forceful she is on Ranma.
She is from a strong bloodline from a Chinese Amazon tribe, and won't disobey her laws.  But when she did on female-Ranma . . . . Shampoo is a waitress at the Cat Cafe, and loves Ranma too much!
She is okay at martial arts, but not the best.  It is known that she is better than
Akane, and they had a fight once in the super soba noodles part of the story.
Shampoo can be a bit fun to quote though.  Sometimes I catch myself speaking
her lines at school.
Shampoo first came into the story in English graphic novel 3, right after Ranma
defeated Azusa and Mikado.  Shampoo busts open a wall and the first words from  her mouth in the series was "Ranma!  I kill!"
Man she was pissed.  She swung around her bonbouries or whatever they are
a bit.  After being tricked, she left, and Ranma tells Akane the story.
When Ranma-chan and Genma-panda went to China, they were starving from their travels.  What a coincidence, there was a table of luscious, juicy food and an annual  fighting competition nearby.  Of course, Ranma and his father were dumb enough to eat it, and a crazy Chinese Amazon chick attacked them.  With the help of the Jusenkyo guide with the translations, Ranma discovered that the food was the first-place prize to the winner of the competition.  So to claim the food, Ranma challenged Shampoo.
A breezy kick and Shampoo was knocked over into the water off the log they fought on.  She came back and gave Ranma the "Kiss of Death,"
Ranma and Genma flee, and on accident, Ranma ddefeats Shampoo back in Japan as a male.  Expecting a Kiss of Death again, he got a kiss of Shampoo's love.  By her  Chinese Amazon laws, she was engaged to Ranma now!

Shampoo is attracted to Ranma, so this just makes it even more difficult to win her heart.  Ask Mousse, he's been trying for years.  He proposed to her when he was three, and many times after that.  Unfortunately, Mousse's bad eye vision has hit a nerve in Shampoo.  I mean, him mixing her to a cow could be quite an insult to some people!
Mousse offers her dates, he offers her roses, and she's still so stubborn.  He's constant of asking her, maybe even begging her, becomes a pain to Shampoo, so Mousse thinks another way.  What if he were to challenge Ranma in a duel to find out who's strongest and prove that he's the one for Shampoo that way?  Unfortunately, Mousse is not as good as Ranma, and has never defeated him (with the exceptions of whatever weakness Ranma might have for a time).
Mousse has tried pairing up with Akane Tendo as well, plotting anything half-way useful to break up anything that involved Ranma and Shampoo alone.
It's clear that Mousse is in love with Shampoo, but why doesn't she see that?
