Suggested Reading
Our fanfic will make somewhat more sense if you're familiar with the following Star Trek novels:
Q-Squared, by Peter David
Q-in-Law, by Peter David
Imzadi, by Peter David
Can you tell we like Peter David? :-)
Other Q novels, including the Q trilogy by Greg Cox, and I, Q by Peter David and John DeLancie, are great books, but aren't necessary to understand this story. If you've read the above three novels and you still don't understand this story...well, we don't blame you. We don't understand it, either. ;-)
Of course, we're also assuming you are familiar with the Trek movies, Original Series, Next Generation, and at least the basic casts and premises behind DS9 and Voyager. We are also assuming you have a high tolerance for pain and mental anguish. But then, we're weird. Or hadn't you figured that out yet? :-)
