RH con and Palooza-whats the difference?

Okay, just to bring anyone who dosent know up to date, the Rocky Palooza's are NOT conventions. They are basically just a big party and gathering. The performing cast is composed of lots of people (4 Franks, 4 brads, etc) who all share different parts of the film. Costume accuracy is NOT a factor, but your costume has to somewhat resemble the part you wish to play. The ideas here is for people from all over to gether, do/watch the show, and have fun without the pressure of looking or being the best, as is the case with many con people.

The people there do lots of preshows (Shock treatment numbers, Tim Curry tributes, drag shows, magic acts, etc.) and then the show itself. Everyone who performs is admitted in for free (even if we have, like 40 people performing, which is VERY sweet of the management.) There is a party/gathering at the Americaus both before and after the show itself, and the hotel gives us a $20.00 reduced rate on rooms, and the suites are spectacular.

Everyone who attends is invited to the parties-wether you are performing or not, or wether you even know anyone or not. The idea here is for fans both new and old to hang out, be friends, and have a little fun. (quick note: sorry, youngsters, but anyone not under 21 will NOT NOT NOT be allowed to have alcohol at the parties. NO EXCEPTIONS. We cant make exceptions because then we might endanger future parties, y'know?)

So a Palooza is basically a watered-down con with no guests, few vendor tables (me selling bev's t shirts!), no pressure, and lots of fun. (cons are still fun too, by the way!).
