The paloozas are not Conventions,
just a big party with "local" fans... Local are usually with in a day's
drive. The cast is made up of people from different casts, generally
around the Northeastern part of the country. The Paloozas are generaly
held every 3-4 months at the same theater that shows Rocky every Friday
& Saturday night at midnight. The Paloozas tend to start a little
earlier than midnight, to make sure all the casts get a chance to do their
preshows. Also Bill (Bert Schnik on the newsgroup) has a good explination
of what a palooza is and how it is different
from a convention.
Before and after the show there
are usally parties at the Haunted Hotel, The
Americus. This is the same hotel that was used for the EC2K convention
and usually has a reduced rate for the weekend. Contact them at 610-434-6100.
