The Kiss

The WB's top teens start their second season. The show returns with the eagerly awaited
resolution to Joey and Dawson's fateful kiss. In the aftermath of the lip-lock, the new
couple is confused, and Jen---still grieving over the death of her grandfather---feels
betrayed. Meanwhile, Pacey is thrilled that the "will they or won't they" saga
is finally over although he too begins to feel left out when his friends forget his
birthday. Pacey manages to recover, however, by flirting with Capeside newcomer Andie

and tells everyone about Andie's mother. Joey and Jack( Kerr Smith) have their first fight
when Jack won't talk to Joey about his problems, but Joey shows him that she understands

WHO ENDS UP DOING IT? - Dawson (James Van Der Beek) finally finishes his script, which
everyone thinks is about him and Joey (Katie Holmes). Jen (Michelle Williams) helps Dawson
with the casting of his movie and Dawson rethinks a scene because everyone says that the
characters should have sex. Jen explains to Dawson that there are many motives behind sex
and it isn't always the most predictable thing to do in a love story. Jack (Kerr Smith)
spills a drink on Joey's art project (a sketch of a nude man) and to make it up to her he
poses for her and they discuss their fears of sex. Jack explains to Joey how it felt when
he gad sex for the first time. Pacey (Joshua Jackson) and Andie (Meredith Monroe) talk
about having sex and Pacey makes her fantasy evening a reality, but it is put to a
halt when Pacey realizes that it would be better if they both wait. Dawson thinks about what
Jen told him and goes into Jen's bedroom and kisses her, and tells her not to ask him what
his motive is. Joey and Jack talk and we are left with a scene of them kissing on Joey's

THE TRUTH COMES OUT - Projects are due this week in Mr. Peterson's class and when a note
is found on the floor, Abby (Monica Keena) sets herself out to find out who did it as her
project; solving her own mystery. Being manipulative and stretching the truth get several
rumors flying and people get angry at each other. In the end Joey (Katie Holmes) and
Dawson (James Van Der Beek) realize that they miss the friendship they used to have and
decide to work on getting it back, but slowly. Dawson didn't have sex with Jen (Michelle
Williams) and Jack (Kerr Smith) didn't have sex with Joey (apparently he couldn't get it
up, but you didn't hear that from me, ha ha) This only leaves Pacey (Joshua Jackson) and
Andie (Meredith Monroe) who did have sex. Pacey gets scared because he is so in love with
Andie and his whole life is changing. Andie believes in him and he starts to believe in
himself which he isn't used to. He starts to get good grades and he can't believe it.
Because of his fear he acts cold to Andie, when not really meant to hurt her. He sorts it
all out in his head and realizes that he loves her more than ever and they work out their
problems. Andie admits that she is falling in love with him too. Abby doesn't turn
in her
project after a good insult from Jen. Top

paternal relationships, and a last-minute addition to the crew has Dawson wishing he was
back on dry land. Meanwhile, when the girls help Gale (Mary-Margaret Humes) with a news
piece on teenage trends, Jen (Michelle Williams) and Joey (Katie Holmes) dig to the core
of their animosity towards each other, and an unhealthy dose of Abby's (Monica Keena)

a heroic life change. Meanwhile, Pacey's life gets turned upside-down when Mr. Joseph
McPhee comes to town and announces that he is taking Andie and Jack back to Providence
