Okay, this one's BIG. As a matter of fact, there's 25 different series in 
this fanfic. In case you haven't seen the preview, the following series will 
be appearing, but don't be scared, it's actually easy to follow the plot 
even if you don't know everything about the series and/or characters.

All of these series have there own respective author and company. I'm not 
implying that I created or own such series, I don't even want to think what 
would happen to me if took credit for creating them. Anyway, there are so 
many companies and authors that I won't even bother in telling you which 
one is which. The only thing that needs to be perfectly and absolutely 
clear is that I'm not making ANY financial profit out of this and don't 
plan to make any in the future, so please don't sue me.

And by the way, when you see:

[ ] that means the character is thinking, most character think something 
while saying something else.
< > are used for sounds and noises.
' ' are used when the crowd are saying/shouting something.
( ) are use when the author (That's me!) is making a smart ass remark or 
notes.
" " are used when the characters speaks.
* * are used to emphasize what the character or author says.
// // are used when the character is having a phone conversation.

Special warning: As you might've noticed, some of these series don't take 
place in the same place, time, world or even universe. Well in this fanfic 
that doesn't matter, the important thing is that all of them are HERE!

				PROLOGUE



Two foot steeps could be heard approaching from the other side of the 
corridor. Both individuals seam to be talking about something, each one 
making questions to the other. Even though we don't see them yet, both of 
them seem to be completely submerged into the conversation. It's a good 
thing that there's no one else in the corridor, being busy talking as they 
are with their noses buried in their clipboards, they don't even seem to be 
looking in front of them. 
Both gentlemen finally become visible. The two of them are wearing a black 
business suit, one of them looks to be in his early twenties and has short 
purple hair. The other, looks older than his companion, about forty years 
old with long brown hair nicely tied up in a pony tail hanging over his 
left shoulder, he is also wearing a couple of earrings (yes, quite a 
bishonen look he has).

"Are all the rooms ready then?" asked the bishonen one as he kept on 
walking.

"We have exactly fifty rooms available." his companion responded walking 
along as well "I don't think we'll have any problem fitting all of them in. 
What about the invitations Narsus? Are there any delays?"

"Everything is going as scheduled." the one called Narsus replied "By the 
way, Shinobu. I already have a selection for the referees. Why don't you 
take a look and tell me what you think?"

"Let's see..." Shinobu said, as he took the list his partner handed to him. 
While consulting it, Narsus was still checking some other stuff in his 
clipboard "This is good. I don't think our boss will have any trouble 
accepting them. Now, passing on to the cafeteria..."

"Already taken care of." Narsus interrupted "Cooks have been hired and 
supplies have been bought."

"And what about transportation?"

"Transportation itself has been arranged," Narsus went on "but we seem to 
be running out of drivers. We need to increase our staff."

"I think I have someone in mind." Shinobu told him as he showed him a name 
written in his clipboard "What do you think?"

Narsus looked at the name and then approved by nodding.

"Good choice." he said "Have you called her already?"

"Just a few minutes ago. She accepted." Shinobu responded "I think she'll do 
fine in the other tasks in which we're running out of personnel."

"Well, everything appears to be in order." Narsus brought out "The only 
thing that's left to do is wait for our guests to arrive."

"Let's just hope that everything goes as scheduled." Shinobu added "As for 
now, we have to report to our superior."

Both of them began to walk towards where their employer was waiting for 
them.

"Is there something wrong, Shinobu?"

"Not really." he responded "I was just wondering about the boss."

"I understand perfectly what you're saying." Narsus told him "There is 
little we know about him indeed. I can't help to ask myself questions about 
his identity as well."

"For him to pull out so many resources for this event..." Shinobu added "I'm 
not even sure what he's gaining with all of this."

"Neither do I, my friend." Narsus said "But he's certainly going through a 
lot of trouble to accomplish his goals, which ever those may be."

Both of them stopped in front of a huge metal door. After pressing a code 
number on the digital board next to it and sliding their ID card, a sound 
similar to a vault opening was heard. The door began to open up slowly. 
Shinobu and Narsus waited for it to open completely and then went inside.
The interior room looked more like a computer room. Screens and flashing 
lights coming from almost everywhere, there was a red curtain hiding the 
entire wall. At the end of the room, there appeared to be some sort of well, 
although it look more like a metal disc.
Narssus and Shinobu remained standing a couple of feet away from the well.

"Sir?" asked Shinobu.

After saying that, a beam of flashing light came out of the well, a couple 
of eyes began to appear between the light (think a little of Zordon from 
the Power Ranger, but no head, just a couple of eyes... I know, I could've 
done something more original but stay with me in this one, okay?). The eyes 
finally opened and a authoritarian voice echoed trough out the entire room.

"Your report." It said coldly.

"Everything is going as scheduled." Shinobu responded "All the invitations 
have been distributed and the entire staff is ready to receive our guests."

"The basketball courts are ready as well." Narsus pointed out. 

"And have you selected the referees yet?" It asked.

"I have the list right here, sir." Narsus continued "We only need your 
approval to contact them."

The list suddenly snapped out of Narssus hand on its own and began to float 
towards the well. Once there, it went inside of it. The eyes in the light 
began to move from right to left as they seamed to be reading the list. 

"Excellent." The voice said "Contact them at once."

"Yes, sir." Narsus said. 

"Er... excuse me sir..." Shinobu began.

"What is it?"

"How can you be so sure that all of the players will come?" he asked.

"They will come." he answered "How could they resist? Especially considering 
what's the first prize they'll win."
