MURDER BY PHONE (1980)

SYNOPSIS: New York-set technological thriller. A professor attempts to find the killer who's permanently disconnecting his students by sending lethal electrical jolts down telephone wires.

Despite Chamberlain's ever-growing reputation as a TV star around the time Murder By Phone was made, the movie bombed and wasn't even granted a theatrical release.
It's something of a shame that it received no recognition because the movie at least has an interesting premise - even if it can't exactly be described as the best movie ever made.
