Magic Knight Rayearth Anipike Pages Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji are torn from their idyllic lives in Tokyo to a world of magic and monsters, Cefiro. They learn from the wizard Clef that they have been summoned by the "pillar" of Cefiro, Princess Emeraude. Once a tranquil land, Cefiro is now at the mercy of mad priest, Zagato. In order to save this doomed world, the three girls must become Magic Knights, for only the combined might of the Knights can hope to save the Princess and Cefiro from oblivion. Magic Knight Rayearth is originally a manga series released by the famous manga group CLAMP. It has spawned a 3 season TV series, and an OVA series. The TV series is due to be release in NA markets by the commerical group MediaBlasters. Rayearth is a unique hybrid mix of typical separate anime genres : Magical girls, giant mecha, 'sword and sorcery', action, and SD humor. On to the scans.
