Welcome to the section of my web site devoted to that classic 1960s TV show, Get Smart. For many of you, this is the main reason why you came to my web site. For other people, it is not. And there are probably a few of you who have no idea what Get Smart is, and you clicked on the link for this page just because you like me. While I'm touched, the fact is that if you don't know much about the show, then this page is probably going to confuse and frighten you. So, prepare to be frightened.

Of course, the big news is that, after six years, Get Smart is finally back on American television! TV Land started airing the show with an awesome two-day (March 31-April 1) marathon, and then it joined the regular schedule April 2. Yes, all this despite (or maybe to spite?) the fact George W. Bush was elected President! To read more about Get Smart on TV Land, as well as the history of Get Smart reruns on American television, click here. This is also the place where you can read more about the upcoming TV Land documentary about our little show.

Also, my personalized autographs of Agent 99 herself, Barbara Feldon, and Bernie "Seigfried" Kopell are still available for viewing. Be sure to look, and then feel free to drool with envy all over your keyboard. But then wipe it up with a damp cloth, because, really, that's just disgusting.

For those who already know the show, I have a list of several sub-pages that I will soon be creating. I say "soon" because I have only created two of the pages so far: the Movie page and the Reruns page. Hence, these are the only two pages with links. But the names and descriptions of the other pages are there, to give you an idea of what the site will look like in future weeks. Would you believe future months?
Max and 99 - - A page about the greatest romance in the history of television. And, no, I don't mean Ned and Stacey.

Yes, Life Does Continue After 1970 - - A page about the various sequels to, and incarnations of, Get Smart that have been made since the show's cancellation.
But What About the Reruns? - - For some (well, most) people, reruns are the only way to go when it comes to Get Smart. For these people, here is a page about Get Smart's rerun history on American television.
Don't Tell Me They're Making a Movie of This - - Yes, there's a possible Get Smart movie in its early planning stages. While nothing's certain, here's a page containing all the info that is known about a possible movie.
Merchandising, Merchandising, Merchandising - - There have been books written, compact discs made, even statues erected, all to honor Get Smart. Okay, maybe the statue part isn't true. But every other part is. And on this page, you can read all about it.

Well, now it's time to say goodbye to Smart and all his friends. I would like to thank you folk for kindly dropping in. You're all invited back next week to this locality, to have a heapin' helpin' of Get Smart info, written by me.
