Sweeney is calling her night out with the fans Sami's Just Desserts, and she will be joined by Days of Our Lives co-stars Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Roberts), Jensen Ackles (Eric Brady), Arianne Zuker (Nicole Walker) and additional surprise guests. HERE COMES THE BRIDE!

Alison was recently engaged to longtime boyfriend Dave. The couple is planning a summer 2000 wedding. Dave proposed to Alison on Catalina Island the weekend of 3/13/99. Alison was completely surprised and is very excited.

Alison was thrilled to show off her new ring to the paparazzi when Dave recently escorted her to the EdTV premiere (check Soap Opera Digest and Soap Opera Weekly for pics). Alison and Dave attended the premiere in support of Alison's fellow castmate and EdTV star Sally Kirkland. Alison was also thrilled to meet Ron Howard at the premiere. She admires him a great deal.

Plans are currently underway for an engagement party later this summer on the set of Days of Our Lives. Many of Alison's castmates and friends will be in attendance.

Alison Sweeney has won her third Soap Opera Award in the category of Outstanding Villainess for her portrayal of Sami Brady on Days of Our Lives! The awards were held at the Universal Amphitheatre in Hollywood, and was hosted by Alison's co-stars Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn. Alison was escorted to the ceremony by her (now) fiance Dave.
