Because of her parent's many abductions, Sami and
her brother were raised by maternal grandparents in
Denver. Sami returned to Salem in 1990, but she didn't
bring much attention to herself until she became
infatuated with Carrie's boyfriend, Austin. Named for
Samantha (Marlena's sometimes unstable twin sister),
Sami seems to share similar traits with her late aunt.
After watching her mom and John Black have amorous
encounter on a Titan conference table, Sami became
bulimic. Later, she altered test results on a hospital
computer to keep the true paternity of her half-sister,
Belle, from her dad, Roman. Belle was John's baby.
Sami went even further over the edge when she
kidnapped the child and tried to have her adopted to
rid the Brady household of the symbol of Marlena's
affair.
Sami was later raped by Alan Harris and she suffered
public humiliation when she brought him to court.
Later, after he came after her with a gun, Sami found
personal revenge by blowing away his manhood.
Sami also drugged Carrie's beau, Austin Reed, to get
him to make love to her. Then, on Carrie and Austin's
wedding day, Sami turned up in Salem, pregnant with
the groom's baby. On Carrie and Austin's second
wedding day, Sami wore a gown just like Carrie's and
married Austin herself when the two needed to be
"proper parents" by French standards to get baby Will
back to Salem.

who each have their own agendas, Sami continues to
scheme and connive to keep Austin tied to her and
their son Will.
