Welcome back to That '70s Show. The coolest crew since Kotter's Sweathogs

by Janet Weeks for TV Guide

Summer vacations just seem to get shorter and shorter. The kids from That '70s Show barely had time to scribble good-byes in their yearbooks, and already they are back for a sophomore season on Fox. The comedy that flashes back to the decade of WIN buttons and smiley faces returns with new episodes this month. So if you're new to school, here's a primer on who's who, who plays who, and, of course, who likes who. OK, OK: whom.

NAME: Mila Kunis

PLAYS: Jackie Burkhardt, the Prettiest (and just might be able to spell pretty)

AGE: 15

BIRTHPLACE: Ukraine

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY: Studying

BIO: Kunis was 7 when her parents gave up jobs as educators in Ukraine to bring Mila and her older brother, Mike, the the United States, hoping for a better life. Kunis began taking acting classes at age 9 and soon signed on with a manager. She performed in more than 30 TV commercials, but her big break came last year in HBO's Gia, in which she played the young title character (the adult Gia was played by Angelina Jolie). A child of the 1980s, Kunis has little affection for '70s styles, especially the platform shoes she wears to bring her up to Kutcher's 6-foot-3 inch height (she plays his girlfriend).

QUOTE: "I had to jump over a couch in five-inch heels. It was the weirdest."
