Power Play, a new Canadian show which has done quite well in it's first season may be released for American viewers next season. It stars Michael Riley, Keri Matchett, Gordon Pinsent and Dean McDermott. It's all about the fictional NHL hockey team, the Hamilton Steelheads.
Ok people, I know, I know, I suck. I haven't been here since.. well I can't remember when, but it was a really long time ago. Character:Brett Parker

Position:EX GM of the Steelheads. Now he's piecing back together his old life as an agent.
Story:Well, he came from New York but through some strange seeings(he has a lotta these, I think he may be legally insane), he came back to his hometown, Hamilton, and accepted the position as general manager of the Steelheads. Then, after some complication, his life fell apart and lost everything. But you can count on good old Parker to make a comeback, with everyone kicking themselves for not killing him when they had the chance.
Personal Comments: I really don't know what to say about Parker, he's evil, but at the same time, good. He can be a real bastard, but he also makes up for it. I don't know, I guess maybe I like him, but sometimes you just wanna whack him with a stick.
Character:Colleen Blessed

Story:Colleen is the team President of the Hamilton Steelheads and is dying to move the team to Houston. But, alas, Brett and Duff stand in her way so she's kept her plans on hold.. for now. She sounds kinda evil, yeah, but she's not really that bad. Actually, she seems to be a nice relief from the everyday after you've seen Brett in action... And she certainly saw Brett in action! Afer they slept together they had a big fight and well, now they're bad to their old I-hate-you-but-I-secretely-wanna-sleep-with-you tension. On the other hand, there's also the constant flirting with Mark..
Personal Comments: Well, Colleen's pretty cool. She's always there to ruin Parke's plans, and ya gotta give her credit for that, and she's always nice to Duff, but she can be a pain too.

Story:Mark's still on the ice, but I'm not too sure about his personal life. Seeing as how Power Play does on Fridays now, I'm never home to watch it. All I know is that there's tension between him and Rayanne(Is that how you stpeel her name?). And it's not the good tension, like between Colleen and Parker...
Personal Comments: I love him! ;) He's driven by hockey, he's a nice guy.. Can you help but love him?

Story:Duff seems mostly like the quiet type. He doesn't say much and when he does, he's usually really quiet about it. Though there are those times when he's just downright stubborn and demands for things to go his way but nonetheless, he's a pretty cool guy. Him and Colleen seem to share a certain bond but I don't know about him and Brett. When you first see him, you'd think he was kinda off, but as you go on, you realize that he knows a lot more than you'd think. Now that he's recovered from.. umm.. something or other, he's decided to live life as it comes. Can ya really blame the guy?
Personal Comments: Duff is really great. He's funny, nice and really cares for his team. He's really outrageous too, he lives in Copps Coliseum, he dances with air and eats a lotta them Bugles...
Character:Michelle Parker

Story:Well, Michelle is Brett's daughter. Estranged actually. He abandoned her when she was really young and she hasn't seen him since, until one day when he comes back to his old hometown for his job. Ever since then, she's been raising hell and mending bridges at the same time. You can't help but love her.. *haha* She came close to getting married to a guy named Hudson, who is an agent in the hockey business. Parker, or course, found some dirt on him and broke up their realtionship, though I'm not too sure if they broke up for good.
Personal Comments: At first, I didn't really know what to think about her, then I thought she was kind of annoying, then I realized that she drove Parker crazy and that was enough for me. She's cool..*lol*
Character:Todd Maplethorpe

Story: Todd's from Saskatchewan, he has an older brother, who's also interested in hockey and is [probably] playing for.. Uhm... it just slipped my mind, but anyway, he's playing for a team, though he did try out for the Steelheads. That kinda of got destroyed when Todd kicked the crap out of him...
Personal Comments: I love Todd! He's funny, and loyal and a good hockey player and he can really fight..

Story: Jukka's from Finland. He loves to play hockey (DUH!) and he's pretty damn good at it too. He's the top scorer for the Hamilton Steelheads.. Yes.. More than Simpsie ;) Though he may know a lot of things about Canadians and their lifestyles, he does get mixed up once in a while.. (We don't fish all summer and play hockey all winter.. Do we?)People! You actually wrote to me with info but I was too damn lazy to actually put it up, sorry! Ok, here it is, Jukka was enlisted into the Finnish army by Parker.
Personal Comments: Jukka kicks a lotta ass. He's funny and cute and he's really one of the team players. Smart and imaginative on and off the ice, (The cabin ring a bell? Knock at the door...) he's one of the guys.

Story:Shakey's been playing the game for a looong time and he's pretty damn good at it too. Though he may not exactly be the biggest guy in the league, he's still quick to catch the puck when it comes. Recently he retired, that was a sad ep, but everyone still loves him!
Personal Comments: Shakey's pretty cool, he's loyal to the team (not to mention his wife...) Who'da guessed that a guy with such a thick french accent would have Hamilton as their hometown! I'da guessed Quebec or something...

Personal Comments: She's gullible and naive, no wonder she isn't really getting anywhere in her search for The Truth. Constantly annoying Parker, she's pretty funnny to have around. Well, annoying him and also.. uhm.. y'know ;)
