Charisma Carpenter lived in Las Vegas and was there until she was 15 years old. She enjoyed ballet. She studied it since she was 5, and continued it through high school. After she Graduated, however, she took a trip to San Diego, Ca. She worked tosupport her junior college in a video store, aerobics instructor, property management, and as a waitress.
Acting was not in Charisma's plans for her future. As she was working in L.A. as a waitress, she was discovered by acommercial agent. You can say it was fate that brought her eventhough her intention was to save money for her studies.
Charisma is only beginning her career, of course. But Charisma was in more than 20 commercials like of Secret anti-perspirant. She also appeared as a guest on "Baywatch (1998)"; "Pacific Blue (1995)"; "The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show (1997)" on 1/8/98. This brought her courage and confidance to audition for Malibu Shores, now cancelled, as Ashley, for Aaron Spelling.
