Not only does she love her outdoor sports, she also loves the martial arts. She was a competetive figure skater for 3 years and was ranked third in New York State regional competion. She has taken 5 years of Tae Kwon Do. Sarah is an only child but she considers herself a work-a-holic.
Sarah knew she wanted to act since she was about 5 years old. After being on ABC's "All My Children", she was nominated for Outstanding Younger Actress (1994), but in 1995, Sarah won her Emmy. The very next day, the produces of "All My Children," announced that Sarah would be leaving the show. Sarah had already requested the leave on the show about six months earlier because she wanted to go to California to try her success there. In 1996, Sarah auditioned for "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," but picked as the character Cordelia. However, Sarah didn't give up and auditioned and was picked as the lead of the show. YEAH!
