Princess Adora is the twin brother of Adam (He-Man)

Her parents, Queen Marlena and King Randor live with Adam on Eternia. When she was a baby she was stolen by Hordak and bought up under a spell. He-Man came along and gave her her sword. When she lifts up the sword and says

"For the honour of Grayskull,
I am She-ra" she becomes She-ra

Her horse Spirit became.....

Swiftwind, a magical unicorn.

Adora leads the Rebellion against Hordak.
