MUSIC FROM ANOTHER ROOM (M) 2.5 / 5

Music From Another Room was an average movie about two people who have fallen in love and the girl already engaged to well respected man within the family. A sympathetic approach is brought to the movie through a blind woman who happens to be the sister of the main actress. The best part about this movie is the falling in love of the blind sister with a funny character called Jesus. Some of the Brit Jokes are funny although the movie has managed to secure itself as a dull production with no exquisite backbone towards it. We will be seeing it rotting away from main cinemas soon into the smaller boxes.

Although reviews for this movie are still pending, I watched it myself to give you fella's out there a taste of what the Aussies felt. They said that the movie was so realistic and world war II veterans in Australia have given it a thumbs up besides the fact that it was too Americanised. A few comments saying that the ending was disappointing although I shall not mention what it is.. have a look for yourself. The battle scene is horrific and terrbily realistic. The first 25 minutes of the movie is pure violent war, so if you cant sit through that graphic, walk out!! The movie gets worse. Thats the only advise I can give you. Definitely an OSCAR pick. Spielberg does it again!!
