Biography:
Edward Kerr
Born and raised in Kansas City, MO, Edward Kerr attended Vanderbilt University and earned a degree in history. Upon graduation he decided to move to California to pursue acting. A variety of commercial work soon came his way, including national TV spots for Toyota, Chevrolet, Miller Light and Old Spice. An audition with an NBC casting executive helped him land a development deal, which led to his starring role on the mini-series "The Secrets of Lake Success". Subsequently, he moved into feature film roles in "The Rhinehart Theory", starring Joe Mantegna and Christopher Reeve, and "Magic Island". In 1994, he joined the cast of "seaQuest DSV" at the start of its second season, playing special-weapons-and-tactics expert Lt. James Brody. Kerr was born on an October 14. He is single and resides in Los Angeles. His favorite leisure-time activities include playing billiards, reading and playing a variety of sports.
"Brody is a great guy. He's full of self confidence but isn't arrogant. He's more apt to take things lightly rather than seriously, but he's a good person with a strong sense of values. There's never any doubt that the crew can always depend on him."
