BEAST WAR TF BOOTLEGS

Here's more information on these toys which I recently acquired from the ultimate bootleg toy resource.

TARANTULAS This bootleg features a number of differences in the paint job from the original toy. The authentic toy featured a grey head with black eyes. The Spider's eyes on the original are blue, not red like in this knock off. Also, the original's legs are grey on the inside of the thigh and lower portion of the leg. The feet also should be copper colored. Tarantlas' weapon (grappling hook) is missing the string that should be attached to it.

OPTIMUS PRIMAL AND MEGATRON These figures are completely out of scale from the original toy. Created to go with the regular series (not the Deluxe series), the original figure stood approximately three to four inches tall. These bootlegs stand a little over five inches high. Unlike with Tarantulas, the paint jobs on these figures are minor.

DINOBOT Like the other figures he comes on the card in robot mode. He also is already wearing his mutant head.
