PRESIDENT of the US BILL CLINTON BLASTS VIOLENT MEDIA
In his weekly radio address, President Clinton blamed video games and movies
for contributing to the massacre by two teenagers at a Littleton, CO high
school last week. "To the media and entertainment industries, I say
just this: You know you have enormous power to educate and entertain our
children," the president said, adding: "Yes, there should be a
label on the outside of every video, but what counts is what's on the inside
and what it will do to the insides of our young people." In the Republican
response, Colorado Gov. Bill Owens declared: "We need to understand
who and what feeds and profits from this dark subculture. And why is it
that so many Americans patronize a mass media that all too often glorifies
violence rather than condemns it?"
No disrespect to the victimsor their families is
meant in the following section it more of a rebuttle to Bill Clinton's far
out accusations. Now I'd just like to rebut something Bill Clinton has said.
"To the President of the USA: You know you have enormous power to educate
and entertain our children, yet instead of fostering an education for every
child in your country you would rather buy a TANK or an aircraft carrier."
I will pause and add.."Yes, the CLINTON presidency should have a warning
that reads shoot first ask questions later, but it's what is going on inside
that counts, inside the whithouse, and what that will do to the world outside
the whitehouse.". And in response to Colorado Gov. Bill Owens, "We
need to remember that it is factors like Bill Clinton's war media coverage
and the RIGHT TO BARE ARMS that feeds the this dark subculture. And so many
Americans patronize a mass media that all too often glorifies violence rather
than condemns it, because it usually follows a speech by a white haired
man pressing his left thumb down so hard into the rest of his hand that
it turns white. Why would this be a call to patronize the violence, because
it has got the presidential seal."
Passing the buck no longer works, the world knows that Clinton is a hypocrite
and he should clean the whitehouse from the inside out before he tries to
clean up the rest of the world.. Who knows if the whitehouse was clean,
maybe the country would run smoother crime would come down.. I just thought
I'd shead some life on the real HORROR.. Not just the horror that we see
in moives that we can leave in the video case. The stuff happening in Kosovo
will not stop when we turn off our TV's.. It can't be put in a video case,
it's real.. And thats the difference, peoples deviance is more related to
reality rather than fiction.. I in no way condone massacres and my heart
goes out to the families of the victims of the recent Colorado massacre.
But look for another scape goat, or just look in the mirror society is to
blame. The kids were outcasts. Society should function in a way to stop
anyone ever switching to deviance. But that will never happen because capitalism
would breakdown.. Oh the HORROR that is reality.. LET US HAVE OUR MOVIES.
