(Somebody constantly knocking on the door. Vicky comes down the stairs in her bathrobe)

Vicky: (angrily) Hold on a second.

(Opens the door and finds it's Paulina)

Paulina: Are you always so cheerful in the morning?

Vicky: Sorry, it’s just that I was in the shower, and all I heard was someone banging on the door. What are you doing here anyway? You weren’t supposed to be here for a couple of hours.

Paulina: I had to come deliver it early, because Remy is out with her injury and we’re expecting a big crowd later. With Joe at the station, I gotta be there to help out. (walking into kitchen) I also wanted to find out how everything went at the doctor’s yesterday.

Vicky: Oh, everything went fine at the doctor’s yesterday.

Paulina: Well I spoke to Nick yesterday, and he thinks something is up with you.

Vicky: Nothing is up. My little brother just has an overactive imagination. I’m fine.

Paulina: You sure? Vicky, you know you could tell me anything, good or bad.

Vicky: (hugging Paulina) I know that and I love you for saying it, and I would tell you, but there’s nothing wrong.

Paulina: Well I just wanted you to know that. Now about the food. All you have to do is heat it in oven for 10 minutes.. OK?

Vicky: what do I look like an idiot?.. I can do that.... I think?

Paulina: Okay, just don’t blow up your kitchen. I gotta go let me know how everything turns out.

Vicky: (hugging Paulina) Thanks for everything I owe you

(Paulina leaves)
