Characters: Jake and Vicky
Setting: Bedroom
(Jake is sleeping, Vicky is standing at the window with the note in her hand)
Vicky: (rubbing her stomach) Boy, is daddy gonna be surprised, but we’re
gonna play a little game with him first.

Scene 18
Characters: Jake and Vicky
Setting: Bedroom, the next morning
(Vicky is sleeping, rolls over to find Jake missing)
Vicky: (sitting up) Jake, Jake. Where are you?
(Jake enters carrying a tray. Places tray on Vicky’s lap)
Vicky: What’s all this?
Jake: Well since I ruined dinner last night I thought I would make it up
to you. (With French accent) For your fine dining, we have 2 eggs scrambled, the leanest
bacon, toast, orange juice, black coffee and this (kisses her passionately).
(Vicky looks at the food moves the tray and races to the bathroom. Comes out looking as
white as a sheet)
Jake: Are you OK, honey?
Vicky: Yea, I just don’t feel too well. maybe it was
something I ate last night.
Jake: Are you sure? I could stay home and take care of you.
Vicky: No, I’m fine, besides Paulina, Remy and I are going shopping
this afternoon.
Jake: Oh OK, (acting childish) Buy something for me? Please!!!!!
Vicky: (patting Jake on the head) Only if you go to work and behave like
a good boy?
(Both laugh)
Vicky: Wow, look at the time, you’re gonna be late!
Jake: So!! I own the paper
Vicky: True, but Paulina and Remy are gonna be here soon.
Jake: OK, call me when you get back.
Vicky: OK, have a good day.
(Jake kisses Vicky and leaves)
Vicky: (turns rubiing her stomach) Now the fun begins!!
