Romance
Never Dies Part 1
Brief
preview of the storyline: This storyline takes place after the
whole mess with Grant is resolved and Jake and Vicky have put her
kidnapping behind them. Jake and Vicky decide that after all that
has happened to them, they need so much deserved quality time
together.
Scene 1
Jake and Vicky are lying in bed. Vicky's head rests upon Jake's
bare chest, as he plays with her hair.
Jake: That was....Wow! I don't think that there
is a word for what I'm feeling right now.
Vicky (still trying to catch her breath):
Actually, I can think of a word to describe it...
Jake: And what would that be?
Vicky: Heaven! (Smiles at Jake and gently kisses
him on the lips.)
Jake: Vic, I've missed this. With all that's
happened, we never seem to have time to just be Vicky and Jake.
Vicky: I know Jake, I know. But, you know that I
had to nail Grant and Cindy. I couldn't let them get away with
what they did and I couldn't let them be a threat to this family.
Jake, I've wanted a family like this my whole life, and I intend
to keep it.
Jake: Well, since you are done with your
scheming, and I finally have time to be with my wife, I have a
question to ask you. (Grins slyly.)
Vicky: And what exactly would that be McKinnon?
(Runs her fingers through his hair)
Jake: Well, I've been thinking-
Vicky (interrupting him mid-sentence): Now
that's something you don't see everyday!
Jake (laughing and hitting Vicky with the
pillow): Watch it Vic!
Vicky (while laughing): I'm sorry. I just can't
help myself!
Jake: I know! (laughs) Anyway, back to what I
was saying. I think that we should go on a second honeymoon. What
do you think?
Vicky: I think that sounds great, but where
should we go?
(Jake and Vicky look at each other for a couple of seconds, and
then together say): New York!
End of Scene
Scene 2
It's the next morning. Jake and Vicky are lying in each other's
arms sound asleep. Jake begins to stir, and wakes Vicky up with a
few gentle kisses on the lips.
Vicky: I love to wake up like that!
Jake: Who wouldn't?!
Vicky: Do you want me to actually make a list?
Jake: You think you're funny, don't you? Well, I
think this is pretty funny...No trip to New York. (Jake gives
Vicky an elfish smile.)
Vicky: Ok, ok. I'm sorry.
Jake: Apology accepted. But, you know how you
could really make it up to me?
Vicky: I think I know a few ways. (She kisses
him passionately.)
Jake (breaking away from the kiss): Wow! That
was great, but I was thinking more along the lines of two eggs,
bacon, and some OJ! (Laughs)
Vicky (Grabbing the pillow from under Jake's
head and hitting him with it): You are a dead man McKinnon!
Jake and Vicky get in a huge pillow fight. Vicky ends up pinning
him and then kisses him. Jake returns the kiss and then rolls her
over. They begin to make love as the camera pans out.
