To think about it would wreck his mind
To let it go would free his soul
But he's got you
He's got you on his mind
But he's not worried
But he's not wondering
No he's not worried
He's got you
He's got you on his mind….

well? You know I'm still the boss!
Before he gets a chance to respond In walks Nick.
Nick: Hey, Amanda, I need to take a few days off and go to New York.
Before she gets to respond in walks Patti.

and pulling him over to where Vicky is still sitting with Kris) Hi Mom…
Vicky: Hey, come here I missed you (Steven comes over and gives her a

Kris: K K ….don't you remember you used to call me KK for Kris with a
K?!
Jake: (slowly) K K . . . hmm (then smiling) oh, yes KK, come here (he
gives her a big hug) so what are you doing here?
Kris: Well, I just went through that with Vicky, but I live in New York
now and work for the New York Times, and what brings you here? Vicky told
me you guys where married now, so are you two going to live here? (remembering
full well what Vicky had told her about her and Jake)
Jake: No! (looking at Vicky) I'll be living here and Vicky and Steven
WILL be going back to Bay City SOON!
Vicky: Kris, as you can see Jake is still as stubborn as always. (before
Jake gets a chance to respond)… Let me introduce you to my son,
Steven…..Steven, this is Kris, I used to baby-sit her when I was younger.
Kris: Well, hi there Steven….
Steven: uh, hi…..Mom can I get a pop?
Vicky: …Sure, sure, let me get the waitress.
Kris: Hey, Steven, why don't I take you up to the bar and we can get a
pop there? Come on then, I can tell you about the time Vicky sneaked me
out of the house for Ice cream.
Vicky: Are you sure, Kris?
Kris: No problem, (turning to Jake) and you and I will talk about old
times soon!
Steven: (looking at Jake) Are you going to be here when I get back?
Jake: Steven, I told you I had business to take care of, but I'll see you
later…count on it!
(Kris and Steven walk off)
Vicky: Where are you going?
Jake: Listen, I said you could stay for a few days, now I've talked to
Steven and told him that he couldn't run away anymore, so you shouldn't have any
more problems.
Vicky: Problems? Any more problems? You think just telling Steven
to not run away is going to solve it, when he sees you running away? You
know he looks up to you like a father.
Jake: I don't want to get into this right now?
Nicole: (coming up to them) Hey, Jake, hi Vicky how are you?
Vicky: Oh, just great….
Jake: (Ignoring Vicky) Hey there, yourself! I want to talk to you
for a few minutes when you have time. can you make time for me?
Nicole: You bet, Jake, anytime…. why don't you come back to my office
and we can talk now.
Jake: Actually, why don't you let me take you out to dinner and we can
discuss business then?
Vicky: (in disbelief) What!
Nicole: (looking at Vicky) Jake, we can always discuss business in my
office, you don't need to take me out.
Jake: (looking at Vicky, then Nicole) Well, I want to, I owe you a dinner
…now come on let's go someplace where we WON'T be bothered! (he starts to walk
away)
Nicole: (to Vicky) it's just business, that's all.
Vicky: (trying not to show her true feelings) I'M NOT jealous if that's
what your getting at!
Nicole: Oh, no… I didn't mean to imply that you were…..
Vicky: GOOD!
Nicole: (realizing it was better that she leave) ..Well, goodnight then.
Vicky: (sarcastically) Goodnight!…(she watches them walk out the door,
then in frustration)….. THAT MAN! Ughhh!

Scene 3
Setting: FBI offices in New York
Julie and Hillary are sitting at their desks discussing the latest case they
have been handed.
Julie: (Looking at the documents) Hil I think were going be doing a lot
of road work tracking down all these suspects.
Hillary: (sipping her 4th cup of coffee) At least that gets us out of the
office for a while. Did you see the name on some of these
documents? Get this…..Bunny Eberhardt now is that a name or what?
Julie: Yeah, Bunny sounds like he may be related to Bugs Bunny!
Hillary: okay, I'll start making some phone calls. See what you can
find in our files on this Bunny Eberhardt and this woman named Emily Brown. I
have a feeling that they may be the core of this case. If we can locate
them then we can find out who stole those paintings.
Julie: You know, my question, Hill, is why would someone want to
steal some painting of some old set of swings? I don't get it, who would want
swings? Personally, I would rather have the painting of the Mona Lisa, but
to each his own I guess. (typing in her computer) hey, this is too easy, the
last known address of this Bunny Eberhardt is San Francisco, I guess we know
where were heading!
Hillary: Now, there's a place I haven't been in a while. Maybe a
little side trip to the wharf for some fresh fish and chips would be nice….
