[The episode begins with an exterior shot of the Command Center.]
Rocky's voice : [worried] Rito's getting -really- close to
the
city, you guys.
[Cross to the interior. Everyone is still present, and it seems
that
only a relatively small amount of time has passed between
episodes.]
Rocky : We gotta do -something-.
[Alpha is working away at one of the control panels. Billy goes
to
him.]
Billy : Alpha. Have you got a fix on Tommy's position
yet?
Alpha : Ai-yi-yi! His signal is very weak. I can't
lock it in!
Zordon : Keep trying, Alpha. Until we locate them, Tommy
and his
companion are
at the mercy of Lord Zedd.
[As Zordon speaks, the image of Tommy and Kat plays on the Viewing
Globe again. Tommy struggles to gain control of the car but
to no
avail. A red burst of energy rings the top of his head and
knocks
him out. As he loses consciousness, the image is overcome
with
static.]
Kimberly : [panicky] Oh no, he's unconscious. We're losing
him! Alpha,
do
something!!
Alpha : I'm -trying-, Kimberly!
Billy : [to Alpha] Try increasing the attenuation.
Alpha : I -have-! It had no effect.
Aisha : It's breaking up!
[The image of the car(now tipping to the right again) vanishes from
the Viewing Globe's display. The final glimpse shows that
Kat has
removed her head from Tommy's shoulder, her pretence of fear
no
longer required.]
Alpha : I'm sorry, Rangers, but the signal is completely gone!
[Kimberly covers her mouth in horror. Adam appears rather stunned.
Rocky silently fumes.]
Alpha : Without it, I'll be unable to trace Tommy's location!
[Aisha looks towards the blank Viewing Globe, concern etched upon
her face.]
[Cross now to the car, which has come to a halt in an unknown place.
Kat smiles to herself in satisfaction as she glances at Tommy's
unconscious form.]
Rita's voice : [slowly, teasingly] Here, kitty-kitty-kitty...
[A web of golden energy spreads along Kat's body, outlining her
in the
shape of a monster. Two cold, inhuman, eyes shine momentarily
as she
fades from sight. She reappears in feline form, snugly nestled
in
Rita's arms. Rita herself is kneeling down on the Palace
Balcony,
her Wand resting against the railing. Lord Zedd stands nearby.]
Lord Zedd : Don't call that mangy cat back here!
Rita : [stroking cat] You've been
a -good- kitty, Katherine!
Remind me to give you an -extra- saucer of milk.
Lord Zedd : [sickened] Ugh! Oh -brother-!
Rita : [standing, proudly] Isn't
she -beautiful-, Zeddy?
Lord Zedd : Get that fleabitten thing away from me!
Rita : Fine! -Be- that way. Now
we have the White Ranger right
where we want him! [laughs]
Lord Zedd : Yesss!
[Goldar can now be seen, facing them.]
Goldar : [imploringly] Master, let -me- destroy
the White Ranger;
I have an old score to settle!
Lord Zedd : Very well, Goldar. I suppose you have earned
that right.
Go; have yourself a little -fun-!
Goldar : Dohhh! I will not disappoint you,
Sire!
[Goldar runs his hand along his sword blade and vanishes in a burst
of flame.]
Lord Zedd : Now, Rita, about that -cat-...ooh; it's got to
go!
Rita : Oh!
[Cross over to Tommy sleeping restlessly in the car, which has been
lodged in a mysterious dark cavern. White pillars can be
seen in the
background. Goldar enters from a side-passage, apparently
the source
of the cave's swirling white mist, and walks past two further
pillars
and a gargoyle statue on his way to the car. A second statue
can be
glimpsed in the distance.]
Goldar : [growls] So, White Ranger, once again we meet face-to-face!
Only this time,
it is -I- who will be the victor!
[Goldar stands beside a large rock on the cavern floor, laughing
in
sinister fashion as he watches Tommy lying helplessly in
the car.]
[Cross back to the Command Center. Billy works at one of the control
panels, closely watched by his fellow Rangers.]
Billy : [frustrated sigh] -Still- nothing.
Rocky : [frustrated sigh] Man, what are we
gonna -do-?
Zordon : Rangers! The search for Tommy will have
to wait. Rito has
reached
the outskirts of Angel Grove.
Billy : I'm sorry to say, but Zordon's right.
We're just gonna have
to
hope that Tommy's okay for right now.
Kimberly : [softly] Yeah.
Billy : It's Morphin' Time!
[The Rangers reach for their Morphers. The Morphing Sequence begins.]
Adam : Black Ranger Power! [morphs into
the Black Ranger]
Kimberly : Pink Ranger Power! [morphs into the Pink Ranger]
Billy : Blue Ranger Power! [morphs into the
Blue Ranger]
Aisha : Yellow Ranger Power! [morphs into the
Yellow Ranger]
Rocky : Red Ranger Power! [morphs into the
Red Ranger]
[The five Rangers appear out in the countryside.]
Yellow Ranger : There he is!
Red Ranger : Hey Rito!
[The Rangers run up behind Rito. Owing to the huge size difference,
only his feet and legs can be seen.]
Rito : [stamping] Ah-haahh!
Red Ranger : Hold it right there!
Rito : [turns] Huh?
Ah, hello there, Power Twerps!
Pink Ranger : [pointing] We won't let you destroy Angel
Grove!
[Rito crouches down towards the Rangers. They quickly back away.]
Rito : [sarcastically] Oh -yeahh-? And what do you think
you're gonna
do to stop me?
[Rito blows a gust of fetid air at the Rangers, driving them back
even
further.]
Red Ranger : [staggering] Uh! Bad breath! Uh! Uh!
Rito : Welll, I'd like to
stay but I gotta run.
[straightens up again] You know how that ED can be!
Red Ranger : Unfortunately, yes. It's time, guys!
Others : Right!
Red Ranger : All right. Let's do it!
[Each Ranger sweeps his or her right arm and then touches their
left
hand across their right wrist. They complete the sequence
by raising
their right fists towards the sky. These movements are highlighted
by
Ranger-coloured energy.]
Rangers : [during] We need Ninja Zord Power; now!
[Focus upon each of the Ninja Zords in this order(Ape, Wolf, Bear,
Frog, Crane). All are apparently moving through the city,
although
the surroundings of the Bear and the Crane are unclear. This
is
followed by a shot of the five Zords travelling together
across
open ground. Rito advances, sword drawn, and battle is joined
in
the city.]
Rito : [advancing] Owh! Don't you guys -ever- give up?
[The Bear growls and thumps the ground with its two front legs.
This
causes an earthquake effect which throws Rito off balance.
It repeats
the sequence and Rito falls flat on his face(Rito : Whaaaa-ohooh!).]
Rito : I -hate- when that happens!
[The Frog moves up, eyes blazing, and belches a steady flame at
Rito,
who is now standing again. The fiery burst rips into the
gigantic
skeleton, producing an explosion of sparks.]
[The Crane peppers Rito with blasts of its own, further disorienting
him.]
[The Ape seizes its moment and slashes Rito with both swords, first
left and then right. It crosses them together and jabs Rito
with
both blades at once. Rito falls and rolls. The Ape spins
its right
sword and joins the hilt to that of its left sword, thus
recreating
its single weapon with blades on each end.]
[Rito attempts an overhead chop. The Ape quickly blocks and slashes
him in turn with the bladed ends of its weapon. Now seeking
to press
the advantage it strikes at Rito's skull with the flat of
one of the
blades. Rito howls and back-flips(Rito : Whoaaaaaa!!), landing
neatly
on his feet(Rito : Uh!!).]
Rito : Bringing out the fancy stuff, are ya?
[Red surges of energy herald the reappearance of Rito's flame-thrower,
last seen in "Ninja Quest Part 4".]
Rito : [boasting] Well, I got one of my own! Check -this- baby out!
[The Ape readies its weapon, braced for an attack.]
Rito : Stay firm!
[Rito shoots a stream of fire at the Ape, causing a discharge of
bright sparks on impact. Without further ado, the Ninja Megazord
forms. Cross to the five Rangers in its cockpit.]
Rangers : All right! Megazord Battle Mode! Power Up!
Rito : Come on, Power Twerps! I don't have
all day!
[The Ninja Megazord goes into battle stance and advances on Rito.]
Rito : That's it! [laughs]
[Rito fires a sizzling blast at the approaching Megazord, placing
a
series of sparking explosions in its path. The Rangers are
jolted
around inside the cockpit but the Megazord remains undeterred.]
Rito : [in disbelief] No way!
[Cross to the Ninja Megazord cockpit. The Pink and Black Rangers
raise their right hands. The Yellow and Blue Rangers raise
their
left hands. The Red Ranger clenches both fists.]
Rangers : Ninja Megazord! [crossing hands and holding out
two fingers
in a V gesture]
Power Punch!
[Focus in on the Red Ranger in this V pose. A Wolf Punch(accompanied
by the superimposed wolf picture) knocks Rito's flamethrower
to the
ground.]
Rito : Ahh! Yikes!
[An Ape Punch(accompanied by the superimposed ape picture) connects
solidly and knocks Rito into a groaning heap.]
Red Ranger : [in cockpit, triumphantly] All right! To the
-moon-,
Rito! Haha!
[Up in the Palace Lord Zedd sits on the steps just inside the Chamber
of Command, his back to the Balcony, his head bowed in despair.
Rita
stands nearby, still holding the cat.]
Lord Zedd : [muttering] Ohh, first her brother, now this dumb cat...
[Rito appears on the Balcony, hanging his head in shame. He walks
over
to Rita and Lord Zedd.]
Rita : What are you doing here?
[realising the futility] Ohh,
why do I even bother?? Huh!
Lord Zedd : [looking up] That's the exact same question
-I've- been
asking since he arrived! [lowers head again]
Rito : [childish mocking sounds]
Rita : [thoughtfully] Well...I
suppose it's a good time for
Plan B!
Rito : [rubbing hands excitedly]
Oh -good-! A Plan B! Now let me
know!
Lord Zedd : [simultaneously stands up and shoves Rito aside]
You won't
be involved, numbskull!
[Back in the Command Center the five unmorphed Rangers have resumed
their search for Tommy. Billy presses something on one of
the
consoles and shakes his head; apparently another dead end.
He
goes over to Alpha.]
Billy : Alpha. Have you tried retracing the signal
from Tommy's
communicator?
Alpha : Ai-yi-yi, Billy. It seems that all our tracking
devices are
being blocked!
Zordon : Unfortunately you are correct, Alpha. Rita and
Zedd are
generating a powerful
shield that is preventing our signal
from getting through.
Adam : [worried] So there's no way to get to Tommy!
Aisha : Or even find out where he is...
[Cross now to Tommy as he begins to stir. His eyes open blearily
at
the sound of Goldar's laughter and he struggles to focus
them.]
Goldar : Time to wake up, White Ranger! [laughs again]
[Tommy stares at him, groggy and confused.]
Goldar : -You- have a date with destiny! [laughs a third time]
[The car ripples with blue energy and drops into the ground, causing
Tommy to topple backwards onto the misty cavern floor. He
springs
back up, now fully alert.]
Tommy : [forcefully] All right, Goldar! Where's Katherine??
[A holographic image of Rita suddenly appears. She begins to laugh.
Tommy turns, startled(Tommy : Huh?), and goes into defensive
stance
against his former Empress.]
Rita : Well, well, WELL...-Tommy-! Did we have a nice
nap?
Tommy : [angrily] What have you -done- with her?
Rita : Nothing -you- need to worry about!
Goldar : Yeahh!!!
Rita : [taunting] After all, what would -Kimmy- think?
You spending
so much -time-
worrying about another girrl? [cackles]
Tommy : [shaking head] You can't do this, Rita; I
won't let ya!
It's Morphin'
Time!
[The Morphing Sequence begins.]
Tommy : White Ranger Power! [morphs into the White Ranger]
[The White Ranger goes into battle stance.]
White Ranger : For the -last- time, tell me where she is!
Rita : Hm. Well...gotta
run! -I- have a city to destroy!
[laughs and vanishes]
Goldar : [stepping into view]
Oh! Take a look -around-!
[mocking] You're in -no- position to be making threats,
White Ranger! [chuckles]
[The White Ranger breathes tensely, awaiting the inevitable battle.]
[Back in the Command Center, Billy is once again stationed at a
control panel. Kimberly stands close to him, knowing that
Tommy's
salvation depends on his abilities. Adam, Aisha, and Rocky
are in
the background looking towards the Viewing Globe. Alpha hovers
behind Billy.]
Billy : [cautious excitement] Guys; I think I've got him.
He should be
coming up on the Viewing
Globe!
[Kimberly fleetingly touches Billy's wrist as the two of them hurry
to join their fellow Rangers at the Viewing Globe.]
Kimberly : [tense] Oh no, Goldar. Billy, can you
get him outta there?
Billy : We don't have the power to teleport
through Rita and Zedd's
shield.
[The Viewing Globe shows Goldar and the White Ranger circling each
other.]
Rocky : What's he -doing- with him?
Adam : And where's that girl?
Aisha : I bet Rita's trying to keep Tommy out of the
way so we won't
be at full strength.
Zordon : I believe you are correct, Aisha. As for Tommy's
companion,
my sensors cannot
locate her anywhere.
[As Zordon speaks, the Viewing Globe shows the White Ranger going
into
renewed battle stance against Goldar.]
Adam : Billy. Can you figure out a way to get through
that shield?
Billy : Yeah, I think so. Come with me to my lab. Anything
that I have
that's gonna help us...it's
gonna be there.
[Back in the misty cavern, battle is about to be joined. Goldar
growls
in anticipation.]
White Ranger : All right, you gold monkey; this is it! Time
to give it
your -best- shot!
[Goldar's opening swing goes wild. The White Ranger responds with
a
spin-kick followed by a side-kick. Goldar ducks the first,
blocks
the second, and slashes again. The White Ranger blocks the
sword,
knocks it away from his body, and attempts a back-handed
punch.
Goldar blocks it at the wrist with his left hand and strikes
at
the White Ranger's outstretched arm with his sword. The White
Ranger reels back.]
[Goldar high-kicks at the White Ranger and gets blocked. The White
Ranger high-kicks at Goldar with the same result and follows
up
with a back-hander across the face. Goldar growls and swings.
The
White Ranger dodges aside and blocks a second attack with
his foot.
He goes low with a sweeping kick which Goldar jumps, then
runs up
one of the large rocks on the cavern floor and launches a
twisting
kick from the top. Goldar blocks but is nonetheless driven
back by
the impact.]
Goldar : [riled] Your efforts are futile, you will never win!!!
[Rita is out on the Balcony, still stroking the cat. She inclines
her head away from the telescope and walks back towards the
Chamber of Command where Baboo and Squatt are standing around.]
Rita : Poor little Tommy! I'll really miss him. [to Baboo] NOT!
[Squatt laughs.]
Baboo : My Queen, Billy and Adam have left the Command
Center and are
headed towards
Billy's house!
Rita : Are they alone?
Baboo : [excited] Well yes, Empress, it would be a
-perfect- time to
initiate your
Plan B; huh?
Squatt : [jabbering simulataneously] Yes! Yes! Right! Rah!
Woohoo!
[Rito turns away from them and walks back to the Balcony's edge.]
Baboo : [beseechingly] W-well, it -would-!
Rita : Yes! Well, my little feline...the time has
come!
[Rita picks up her Wand from where it lies against the railing and
zaps the cat with an orange bolt. The cat teleports away
using a
spectral feline effect.]
[She reappears on a patch of grass in an as yet undisclosed area
and
suddenly transforms into a monster, probably best described
as a
two-legged humanoid cat. This monster has a feline head,
two purple,
clawed hands, and what looks like an extremely long tawny
tail slung
around its neck and body like a boa. The creature is also
wearing a
strange ensemble of red and white undergarments. Its leggings
seem
to be armoured and are decorated with gold buttons. Another
of these
buttons is positioned over the monster's midsection.]
[The monster meows and poises its claws for combat.]
[Cross to Billy and Adam hurriedly walking along the road in a
residential area.]
Billy : [worried] I just hope I have all the correct components
at my
lab.
[The cat monster springs onto the road a few feet in front of Adam
and
Billy, startling them. A closer shot of its face shows a
rather human
mouth and a pair of shiny blue eyes, the latter of which
was glimpsed
during Kat's first teleportation. Six small objects(possibly
weapons)
are attached to its body just above the midriff. The monster's
voice
sounds like a distorted version of Kat's. If it has a gender,
the
creature is unquestionably female.]
Monster : How about a little game of cat and -mouse-?
Billy : It's Morphin' Time!
[Billy and Adam reach for their Morphers. The Morphing Sequence
begins.]
Adam : Black Ranger Power! [morphs into the Black Ranger]
Billy : Blue Ranger Power! [morphs into the Blue Ranger]
[Both Rangers leap at the monster together, Black on the left and
Blue
on the right, each with their "inner" foot ready to kick.
The monster
"mrrows" loudly as she springs up, catches their legs in
mid-air, and
shoves them aside(Monster : Hey!). Both Rangers slam into
trees and
drop back onto the road without having gained any ground.]
Monster : [landing] MRROWW!!!
[Note - the monster will continue to make
these "MRROW!!" sounds
throughout the rest of the battle. They won't be individually
noted unless required.]
[The Rangers stand up and go into battle stance.]
Black Ranger : That's one sure-footed feline!
Monster : [clawing at the air]
You're not scaredy cats, are you?
Blue Ranger : Let's get her!
[The Blue Ranger charges past the monster, kicking at her as he
goes.
She ducks the kick and then turns her attention to the Black
Ranger,
who is attempting a high-kick. She blocks, twists aside,
and takes
him down with a single blow. She spins and lashes the Blue
Ranger,
ineffectually claws at him, hisses, and then rakes him up
across the
chest. He rolls back along the road.]
Black Ranger : [now standing again] Huh! Billy!
Monster : [to Black Ranger] Now
it's -your- turn!
[The Black Ranger does a low sweeping kick which the monster easily
flips over. He pushes back her left hand and forces her aside.
She
responds by spin-kicking his chest and then kicking him from
behind
whilst he is dazed. He stumbles forward and rolls back over
towards
the Blue Ranger, who is standing again.]
Blue Ranger : [touches the Black Ranger's back] Adam,
are you okay?
Monster : [simultaneously] Mrrow!!
Black Ranger : I'm fine!
Blue Ranger : Huh!
[The monster hisses and readies her claws for a further attack.
The
Black Ranger stands back up.]
Blue Ranger : She's one tough alley cat!
Black Ranger : We can't do this on our own! We need the
others!
Blue Ranger : Right! [activates communicator, to communicator]
Guys!
This is Billy! We got ambushed by one of Rita and
Zedd's monsters! We need your help!
[Cross to Rocky, Aisha, and Kimberly in the Command Center.]
Rocky : [to communicator] We read you, Billy. We're on our
way.
[to others] Let's do
it, guys. It's Morphin' Time!
[The Morphing Sequence begins.]
Kimberly : Pink Ranger Power! [morphs into the Pink Ranger]
Aisha : Yellow Ranger Power! [morphs into the
Yellow Ranger]
Rocky : Red Ranger Power! [morphs into the
Red Ranger]
[The Yellow, Red, and Pink Rangers are suddenly standing in front
of
their Black and Blue comrades. All five go into battle poses.]
Monster : The whole -litter-!
Red Ranger : Okay, teamwork, guys!
[The five Rangers renew their battle stance and then begin a combined
assault as follows.]
[The Red Ranger runs over and tries to spin-kick the monster whilst
she is low-kicking at him. Neither attack connects. He gets
into
position some distance behind her.]
[The Pink and Yellow Rangers flip by on either side of the monster,
easily avoiding her attempted kick. They take their places
near the
Red Ranger.]
[The monster's charge has now brought her to the last two Rangers,
Blue and Black. Their joint kicks drive her back, and, before
she
has a chance to recover, the Pink and Yellow Rangers have
slammed
four fists into her from behind. She stumbles forwards only
to be
driven back by another kick from the Blue and Black Rangers.]
[The Red Ranger scissor-kicks wildly. The monster flies back through
the air and crashes onto the road, screeching in anger. The
Rangers
regroup in front of her just before she gets up.]
Monster : [angrily] The game isn't over -yet-! Next time
I won't
pussyfoot
around!
[The monster claws at the air with orange slash effects. Her eyes
glint the same colour and she vanishes into thin air.]
Red Ranger : [angered] NO!! She got -away-!!
Blue Ranger : Adam and I had better get back to my lab if
we want to
find Tommy.
Pink Ranger : We should get back to the Command Center.
He might try
to contact us.
Red Ranger : Let's bring Tommy home, guys.
Blue Ranger : Right.
Red Ranger : Let's go!
[The Red, Pink, and Yellow Rangers run off.]
Blue Ranger : Ready, Adam?
Black Ranger : Let's do it.
Blue Ranger : Yeah!
[These two Rangers hurry away as well.]
[Rita has evidently been observing all of this through her telescope.]
Rita : [infuriated] Ooh! Dohh! [turns] Rito! Where are you? Wake up!
[Rito starts to stir from near one of the walls in the Chamber of
Command.]
Rito : [confused] Huh? What? -What-?
What? What's going on? Oh!
[looks around] Where's the fire?
Lord Zedd : [on throne] They're worthless! Neither Goldar
nor that
-cat- have been able to complete their mission.
Rito : Oh! Oh! Oh! Let me help!
Rita : [annoyed] Well -do- it already!
Rito : Okay, FINE! [walks off in
a huff] Some -people-! You offer
to heellp, and they just -go off- on ya!
Lord Zedd : [standing] Rito helping Goldar? Hahahaha! What
an amusing
thought! Although, maybe together they -will- finally
-destroy- the White Ranger!
*** - a slight chop here from commercial unpausing.
[The White Ranger lands on the ground, apparently having just been
flipped by Goldar.]
Goldar : Are you ready to
surrender yet?
White Ranger : [gets up] Ha! Tsa! You know me better than
-that-,
Goldar! [turns warily as Rito arrives]
Rito : Ahh-haa!!
I don't know ya! Will you surrender to me?
White Ranger : Never!
[The White Ranger spins aside, kicks at the evil pair, and starts
fighting off both of them at once. His punches succeed in
driving
Rito away but at the expense of presenting his undefended
back to
Goldar. Ever the opportunist, Goldar knocks him down onto
one of
the rocks protruding from the cavern floor. Both villains
laugh.]
Goldar : [gleefully] It's
all over now!
White Ranger : [hatefully] Don't count your chickens before
they
-hatch-; Goldar!
[The White Ranger draws Saba and goes into defensive stance. Goldar
swings at him and misses. With renewed vigour the White Ranger
blocks
Rito and strikes Goldar. He parries Rito once more and spin-kicks
him
away.]
*** - the strike on Goldar seems to contain
a footage jerk. I'm unsure
if this is
a cut or a swift camera angle change.
[Goldar regains the initiative by kicking the White Ranger twice.
There is a brief clash of blades and then he is bearing down
on
his opponent, sword pressed against sword.]
Goldar : -Why- do

White Ranger : Uh! Me? Join forces with Evil? Never!
[Goldar disarms the White Ranger. Saba goes flying onto a rock.]
White Ranger : Uh! Saba!
[The White Ranger shoves Goldar and leap-grabs for his dropped sword.
Rito steps on his outstretched arm.]
Rito : [taunting] What's the matter? -Lose- something?
[Cross back to the Command Center. Aisha, Rocky, and Kimberly appear
to have been watching the battle on the Viewing Globe.]
Aisha : We've -gotta- get him out of there!
[Aisha and Kimberly each clasp their hands together, silently hoping.
Rocky breathes tensely and activates his communicator. Kimberly
touches his arm.]
Rocky : [to communicator] Billy! This is Rocky, do you read?
[Cross over to Billy and Adam in Billy's lab. Billy is constructing
some kind of device.]
Billy : [to communicator]
I read you, Rocky.
Rocky's voice : [via communicator] How's it going over there?
Billy : [to communicator]
I'm still having trouble finding
the right interrupt frenquency, and I'm still working
on it.
[Cross back to the misty cavern. During scene changes the White
Ranger
has somehow freed himself from Rito's entrapping arm but
has not been
able to recover Saba. He is now standing in another part
of the cave,
having just stumbled back from an advancing Goldar. Goldar
kicks the
tiring White Ranger towards Rito. Rito seizes him.]
Rito : Yeahh!! I got him, Goldy! [cackles whilst Goldar
speaks]
Goldar : [to White Ranger] Uhhrrr!! Since you refuse to
listen to
reason I guess
I have no choice, but to destroy you!
[Goldar turns away from the captive White Ranger and laughs in
sinister fashion. Just then, Saba levitates off the ground
on
the other side of the cavern.]
White Ranger's voice : [desperately] Ah! Saba! I need you, buddy!
[Saba flies over to the White Ranger's hand just in time to parry
Goldar.]
White Ranger : [to Saba] Ah! Yeah! I -knew- you could do it!
[The White Ranger wrenches free of Rito and parries attacks from
both villains. He finishes with Saba drawn back ready to
strike,
once again in with a chance.]
[Over in the lab, Billy finishes working on his device.]
Billy : Got it. [smiles]
Adam : [smiling] Good job, Billy.
Billy : Come on.
[Billy and Adam teleport away. Over in the Command Center a worried
Kimberly continues to stare at the Viewing Globe. Billy and
Adam
teleport in behind her. Curiously, Rocky and Aisha are nowhere
in
sight.]
Kimberly : [scared and upset] Hurry, Billy!
Billy : Let's hope this works.
[Billy gives Kimberly's arm a quick squeeze and then heads for one
of
the control panels. As he opens up the casing the Viewing
Globe shows
the White Ranger kicking Rito, dealing Goldar a glancing
blow, being
kicked by Rito, and finally being knocked away by a snarling
Goldar.]
Kimberly : [more urgently] Hurry, Billy!
[Billy inserts his device and closes the console casing. He pushes
a
rapid series of buttons, twice turning back towards the Viewing
Globe
as he does so.]
Billy : [smiling with relief] I got the co-ordinates!
[Billy goes over to join Kimberly, Adam, and Alpha near the Viewing
Globe. Kimberly is now smiling tentatively.]
Zordon : Good work, Billy.
Adam : But will we be able to get Tommy
and that girl out?
Billy : We won't know unless we try. [slight
confusion] I don't
even
see that girl.
Zordon : We've penetrated the shield and locked onto
the
co-ordinates,
but without sufficient power, Tommy, or his
companion,
could be lost in the Morphin Grid forever.
Kimberly : [close to tears] And if we don't try...this could
be the
end
of both of 'em.
[Elsewhere a near exhausted White Ranger clutches at one of the
cave
walls, breathing raggedly. Goldar and Rito are not far behind.]
Goldar : You know what they
say, White Ranger! Revenge is sweet!
Saba : [ashamed]
White Ranger; I'm afraid I've -failed- you. I
can see no way out of our present situation!
White Ranger : Don't lose your faith -yet-, Saba!
[Goldar and Rito close in for the kill.]
Goldar : [gloating] Not even Zordon himself could save you now!
[Cross back to the Command Center(where Rocky and Aisha have
mysteriously reappeared). Kimberly paces across the floor.]
Kimberly : [firmly] I know it's risky but we don't have a
choice.
Billy : You're right. Is everybody ready?
[Kimberly moves so that she is standing between Rocky(to her left)
and Adam(to her right). Billy is just about to program something
into one of the consoles when a seemingly reluctant Aisha
speaks.]
Aisha : [sighs] Wait! He's gonna need all the help he can get.
[Having said that, Aisha joins hands with Rocky. Rocky joins hands
with Kimberly. Kimberly joins hands with Adam. Billy pushes
a couple
of buttons and joins hands with Adam and Aisha, thus closing
the
circle. Coloured energy begins to flow between the ten connected
hands(blue between Billy and Aisha, yellow between Aisha
and Rocky,
red between Rocky and Kimberly, pink between Kimberly and
Adam, and
black between Adam and Billy).]
[Back in the cave, Goldar's sword is now positioned near the right
of
the White Ranger's neck. He draws it back in preparation
for the
final blow.]
Goldar : And now, White Ranger, I say goodbye to -you- forever!
[As Goldar's blade comes slicing down, the White Ranger throws up
his
arms in a final bid to protect himself. All of a sudden he
shimmers
with a bluish light, fades down to a white blip, and blinks
away.]
Rito : Oh! Hey! He's gone!
Goldar : What?! Where'd he go?
Rito : [looking around] Uh...I dunno! He just kinda
disappeared!
[Cross back to the Command Center. The white blip reappears inside
the circle of Rangers and materialises back into Tommy, demorphed,
but alive.]
Kimberly : Yeah! Yes!
[Adam chuckles in relief. Kimberly rushes to embrace Tommy.]
Kimberly : You made it! I'm so glad you're okay, Tommy!
Tommy : [relieved] How'd you find me?
Adam : You should thank Billy.
Tommy : [gratefully] Oh, thanks man; I really
owe you one.
Billy : [modestly pleased] Hey. I'm always
there for you.
Tommy : [suddenly concerned] Oh no. Katherine!
We have to find her!
Billy : Rita and Zedd must have her. I haven't
been able to locate
her
position anywhere.
[Someone(possibly Adam) clears their throat off-screen. Tommy sighs,
troubled by Billy's answer. Cross up to Lord Zedd and Rita
standing
inside the Chamber of Command, facing away from the Balcony.]
Lord Zedd : [furious] Unbelievable! One minute they have
the White
Ranger cornered, and the next minute he's gone! What
happened?
Rita : [furious] Uhhh!! -I'll-
tell you what -happened-! -You-
got in the way of my plan!
Lord Zedd : [dangerously] Yes??
Rita : Everything was going just
FINE until you butted your big
metal -mouth- in!
[The evil couple growl at each other. Rita turns her back on Lord
Zedd. He growls again.]
Lord Zedd : [looking around] Where's that cat? -I'm- taking
charge
now! [growls]
[Kat enters(Rita's voice : Here, kitty-kitty-kitty!).]
Rita : Ah!
Lord Zedd : Ahhh!!
Rita : There you are!
Lord Zedd : Huhh!
Kat : [mechanically] Yes,
Lord Zedd. I am here to serve you.
[Kat's eyes flash red as she speaks. She shifts back into monster
form.]
Monster : MRROW!! [starts licking her right hand]
Lord Zedd : NOW...it's time to go play "Pounce the Power
Rats!"
[Lord Zedd zaps the monster with three blasts of white energy from
his Staff. She vanishes in a rapidly diminishing swirl of
orange
light.]
Rita : Yes! [cackles]
Lord Zedd : Ohh, yes! I'm -good-, if I do say so myself!
Rita : [cackles again]
[Cross back to the Command Center. The Alarm suddenly goes off.]
Rocky : [turning] Huh?
[The Rangers move in close to the Viewing Globe.]
Alpha : Ai-yi-yi! There's a disturbance in Angel Grove Park,
as if we
haven't had enough trouble
today!
[The Viewing Globe shows the cat monster menacing people in the park.]
Tommy : Oh no.
Billy : She looks -mean-.
Adam : [to Tommy] She's the one we had to deal with
earlier today.
Tommy : [sighs] Well, guess we'll have to deal with her
again.
It's Morphin' Time!
[The Rangers reach for their Morphers. The Morphing Sequence begins.]
Tommy : White Ranger Power! [morphs into the
White Ranger]
Adam : Black Ranger Power! [morphs into
the Black Ranger]
Kimberly : Pink Ranger Power! [morphs into the Pink Ranger]
Billy : Blue Ranger Power! [morphs into the
Blue Ranger]
Aisha : Yellow Ranger Power! [morphs into the
Yellow Ranger]
Rocky : Red Ranger Power! [morphs into the
Red Ranger]
[The six Rangers confront the cat monster in the park.]
White Ranger : There she is!
Monster : Mrrow!!! So we meet -again-!
White Ranger : All right, ya walking furball! This is as
far as
you're gonna -get-!
Monster : And I suppose -you're-
gonna stop me? Angel Grove is
just one -giant- SCRATCHING POST to me! And I'm digging
my claws in! [claws at air and then holds claws poised]
[Cross up to Lord Zedd and Rita.]
Lord Zedd : I've grown weary of this! It's time for the kitty
to
become a wild cat!
[The evil pair cross their sceptres and fire off a unified burst
of
lightning. The blast surges into the monster, who now appears
to be
standing in front of some sort of building(possibly a bridge)
instead
of the park, and grows her to towering size.]
Monster : MMRRRRRRRROOOWWWWWW!!!!
[The sky changes from overcast to blue as she is revealed to be
in
the park once more.]
Red Ranger : Whoa!
White Ranger : Hah!
Monster : It looks like the -paw-
is on the other -foot- now,
Rangers!
White Ranger : [simultaneously] Oh! Huh!
[The monster swipes at the tiny Rangers. They duck.]
White Ranger : Whoa! Look out!
[The monster hisses and claws at the Rangers again. They dodge back
out of her range.]
White Ranger : Hah!
Monster : MRROWW!!
White Ranger : Hohh, man! We gotta stop this freaky feline,
before she
gets to Angel Grove. Ready? Let's do it!
Red Ranger : Right.
[White energy flows into the White Ranger's right hand. Accompanied
by
the others, he sweeps his arm around to initiate the Zord
summoning
procedure. The movements are highlighted by the relevant
colour for
each Ranger.]
Rangers : We need Ninja Zord Power!
[Each Ranger takes a step forward and raises his or her right fist
skyward.]
Rangers : Now!
[The Frog, Ape, Bear, Wolf, and Crane are shown travelling together
across open ground. In the city the monster charges towards
them,
now wielding a sword. Multiple tails(seen more clearly in
the
following scenes) now seem to be attached to her body.]
Monster : I guess my -nap- will have to -wait-!
[The five Zords are shown again, now travelling under a darker sky.]
Monster : [looking up] Mrrow!! Hey, who's -THAT-??!
[She has spotted Ninjor flying up on his cloud.]
Ninjor : [resoundingly] Ninjor!!!
[The Ninja Megazord forms. Cross to the Red, Yellow, Blue, Black,
and
Pink Rangers seated in the cockpit.]
Rangers : [crossing hands above heads and then bringing them
down]
Ninja Megazord!
[clenching fists] Battle Mode!
[thrusting
elbows to either side] Power Up!
[pushing
fists forward] Now!
[The shrieking monster brings her sword down upon Ninjor, who is
now
on foot and the same size as his opponent. He quickly brings
up his
right arm to block, and slashes her twice.]
Ninjor : Nighty-night!
[Ninjor punches the monster(Ninjor : Pow-pow!!), knocking her away.
She stands back up, seething with anger.]
Monster : MRROWWW-RROWWHH!! I -WILL- beat you, Ninjorrr!!
Ninjor : [quivering with rage] I -cannot- let you
win, kitty! Good
-must- prevail!
[Fire burns behind Ninjor's visor. He transforms into Battle Mode.]
White Ranger : [in Falconzord] Initiate Docking Sequence; now!
[A reflection of the approaching Falconzord appears in the Ninja
Megazord's left eye. It turns around to face the mighty bird
and
leaps into the air to complete the docking sequence. The
White
Ranger appears inside the Ninja MegaFalconzord cockpit.]
White Ranger : All right. You guys ready to do it?
[The Red Ranger sketches a salute.]
Black Ranger : You got it!
Red Ranger : Yeah.
White Ranger : Let's finish this feline!
[The MegaFalconzord and Battle Mode Ninjor get into place in front
of the monster(Monster : MRROWW!!). They go into battle stance.]
Battle Mode Ninjor : Okay, you! Try -this- on for size!
[Battle Mode Ninjor summons up a red-hot disc of energy and throws
it
at the monster, causing her to cry out in pain. Cross now
to a shot
of the MegaFalconzord flying across the sky.]
Rangers : [in cockpit] Falcon Megazord!
[The Pink and Black Rangers raise their right hands. The Blue and
Yellow Rangers raise their left hands. The Red Ranger clenches
both fists. The White Ranger spreads out his arms on either
side.]
Rangers : [crossing hands and making V gestures] Power Punch!
[Focus on the White Ranger holding his V pose.]
[The MegaFalconzord swoops towards its opponent, propelled by the
might of the Falcon. Its fists, suffused with red and blue
energy,
slam into the monster's body. She is knocked back through
the air
and then along the ground, shrieking with agony. Using the
last of
her strength she attempts to rise once more, only to collapse
and
explode.]
[The Rangers celebrate in their cockpit.]
Pink Ranger : Whoo!
White Ranger : Yeah!
Black Ranger : Yeah!
Pink Ranger : Yes!
White Ranger : All right!
Red Ranger : Yeah!
Pink Ranger : [chuckles]
White Ranger : [chuckles]
[The MegaFalconzord and Battle Mode Ninjor relax their stances.]
Battle Mode Ninjor : [smugly] Oh yeah, we bad!
[The Rangers jump down through the air(Blue and Black first, followed
by Pink and Yellow, Red, and finally White) with accelerated
effects
and land in the park, unmorphed. They look around warily
for a moment
and then run off-screen where they encounter an unscathed
Kat sitting
against a tree. She looks up as they approach.]
Kat : [acting relieved] Tommy! Oh Tommy, thank goodness!
It was
awful, there was this..this
witch and all these horrible
monsters!
Tommy : [gently] You're okay now, Katherine. Everything's
gonna be
all right.
[Kat nods and smiles tentatively. Cross up to Lord Zedd sitting
on
his throne in the Chamber of Command.]
Lord Zedd : [growls] It pains me to admit it but this time
Rita was
-right-. That adorable little Katherine will prove useful
in the future. [lays Staff across throne arm-rests] Hehh!
-Quite- useful.
[Cross back to Kat and the six Rangers walking through the park.
Kat,
now sounding much more calm, has just finished weaving some
kind of
story.]
Kat : And the next thing I knew,
I was back here in the park and
you
guys walked up.
Aisha : After all that, you're really lucky
to be okay.
Kat : [smiling] I don't want to
ever go through -anything- like
that
again!
Kimberly : Yeah...we're just glad you're all right, Katherine.
Kat : [beseechingly] -Please-,
Kim, call me Kat! All my friends
back
home do.
Kimberly : [smiling] Okay!
Adam : So, Kat, do you live here or are
you just visiting someone?
Kat : Oh, we've just moved in.
My dad got transferred, so we all
packed
up and came over with him.
Rocky : [thoughtfully] Hm.
Billy : Well, Angel Grove's a great town; you're
really gonna like
it
here.
Aisha : Yeah.
Kat : [smiles] Thanks. [glances
at watch] Oh, well, I'd better be
off;
I still have some unpacking to do. It was -wonderful-
meeting
you all.
Tommy : Hey Kat, if ah, if you ever need anything...you
know, just
let
us know. [smiles kindly]
Kat : [after a considering pause]
I will, Tommy. Thanks.
[turns
and leaves]
Kimberly : Bye!
Aisha : Bye!
Kimberly : [waves] She's really sweet; I -love- her accent!
Rocky : Yeah, she's really cool.
Kimberly : Yeah.
Adam : It'll be great when she starts
school in the Fall.
Tommy : [softly] Oh, yeah.
Aisha : Oh, I -know-! [chuckles]
Tommy : That'll be cool.
Aisha : [suddenly, amazed] PC!
[Aisha has spotted the cat she knows as PC lying on the grass.]
Aisha : I've been looking -everywhere- for you!
[Aisha leads her friends over to the fugitive feline.]
Aisha : I can't believe she made it this far!
Kimberly : [delighted gasp] Ohh!
Aisha : [lovingly] Oh, come here, baby! Hi,
PC! Hey there, baby!
Kimberly : Kitty!
Aisha : Yeah! Ohh, come here...[picks up cat]
Kimberly : Baby! Ohh...
Aisha : [to cat] I am -never- going to let
you out of my sight!
[Aisha, Kimberly, Rocky, and Tommy are now petting the cat. There
is some good natured chuckling.]
Kimberly : Who's a pretty kitty?
Aisha : Yeah...
[The cat shifts her head restlessly and turns away. Her tongue darts
out to lick her lips and her eyes glow green with evil.]

Bloopers :
The following footage seems to come from a scene which didn't make
it
to the final edit.
1) An exhausted Bulk and Skull hike through the park, still wearing
their traffic directing uniforms from the previous
bloopers. Skull
wraps his arm around Bulk's neck for support, breathing
raggedly.
Bulk : C'mon! [drags Skull along]
[After a while they pause to catch their breath.]
Bulk : [desperately] Here, kitty-kitty!
Skull : [desperately] HEY, KITTY!!!
Voice : Miaow!
Bulk : [scared] Owh! [elbows Skull] Hey!
Skull : [turning irritably] What?
Voice : Hello, boys!
[Bulk and Skull howl in terror as they look at the owner of the
voice.]
Cat Monster : Looking for -meee-??? Heh! [poises claws]
[Bulk and Skull howl again and fall over backwards in a dead faint.]
