The incredible popularity of the Sailor Moon series has led to the creation of a large number of games based on the characters.  I decided to put up a page about Sailor Jupiter's role in these games partially because one of Mako-chan's hobbies is playing video games, so I found it only fitting, and partially because I love the games!

In order to "decipher" my moves lists, you will need the following chart.  The first column contains the direction on your gamepad, the second column lists my names for the directions:
UP
N
TOP RIGHT
 NE
DOWN
S
TOP LEFT
 NW
LEFT
W
BOTTOM LEFT
 SW
RIGHT
E
BOTTOM RIGHT
 SE

BISHOUJO SENSHI
This is a game cartridge for the SEGA MEGA DRIVE 2.  It is a one player game based on the first season of the anime, meaning that you are limited to the number of attacks you can use.  It's a three button game that makes use of buttons A, B & C.
JUPITER'S SPECIAL ATTACKS:
Supreme Thunder (Hold down the A button until you see sparks on her antenna)
This is attack is effective when facing the regular villains (using the quick press-release-press-release method). Unfortunately, it is not advisable for breaking down barriers or walls.

Hurricane (Press C)
This is a life draining attack, so you should only use it in an absolute emergency.

Earth Shaker (S, E, N)
This attack is very powerful, but is short ranged, so in order for it to work, Sailor Jupiter must be standing  close to her enemy.

Super Flying Kick (E, E + B A
This move works best when you're fighting fast moving foes, or when you're absolutely desperate to avoid being hit.

Unfortunately, I can't say much else about this game because I have only played it once, and got all of the information on it from a friend of mine.  (I haven't been able to find a screen shot of this game yet...if you can find one, please email me!)

BISHOUJO SENSHI SAILORMOON SUPER S
This is an often frustrating Playstation game.  The Outer Senshi appear in this game, but you are still restricted to playing the Inner Senshi in most rounds.
JUPITER'S SPECIAL ATTACKS:
Supreme Thunder (E, W, E + P(unch))
This is a quick attack, but is virtually useless against anyone significantly shorter than Sailor Jupiter.  Because this attack uses the antenna on her forehead, it limits the characters on which it can be used. (If you plan to use it, it's most effective on the Outer Senshi, because they are very tall.  Don't even bother using in on Sailor Chibi Moon...she's waaaay to short!)

Sparkling Wide Pressure (E, S, W + P)
This is a very fast move, and is an effective counter for moves like Mars' "Burning Mandala", or on a Senshi about to perform her "finishing attack".

Jupiter Oak Evolution (W, E, S, W  + P)
This is a desperation move, and can only be done either if your energy/life chart is less than half or when you're running out of time. This move is only slightly flawed, and is pretty much impossible to block.  In fact, this move can be blocked in only one way that I know of, but I'm not telling what it is!  If you want to defeat the Mighty Sailor Jupiter, you're on your own!

Like the Sega Mega Drive game I mentioned, I have only played this game once, and got all of the information on it from a friend of mine.  View some scans from the game manual here

Pretty Soldier Sailormoon
This game is for the Sega Genesis. It is a Final Fight clone, and very similar to Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon for the Super Nintendo. Although the intro to the game can easily compete with that of the SNES game, the quality of the colouring is lower, and the SNES characters are much nicer looking. On the plus side, the attacks in this version of the game are much smoother, and the enemies are much more diverse than in the SNES version. (I personally prefer this version to the SNES one, but that's just me!)
SAILOR JUPITER'S SPECIAL MOVE:
Power Wave Punch (N, S, SE + Attack button).

Pretty Soldier Sailormoon S Kurukkurin This SNES game is the second puzzle game based on Sailormoon S. Although this game has fewer game play options than its predecessor, it is a lot more fun, not to mention nicer looking graphically.  This game allows you to use nice offensive attacks that you can use upon your opponent, not to mention defensive options.  Like the other puzzle games, this game is in the superdeformed style, and the characters often react to attacks etc. in a really kawaii manner. Although this game is quite difficult (particularly against the CPU), it is a lot of fun and very cute.
SAILOR JUPITER'S SPECIAL MOVE:
Sparking Vital Pressure (use a wand when there are no Professor Tomoes on your screen)
This move temporarily zaps all of the hearts of one colour on your opponent's board.  Hearts zapped with this method can not be turned over with the cat cursor or by using the pink crystal with the blue heart.  They can only be shot with arrows, removed from the bottom row with the pink crystal and yellow heart, and they can be eliminated from the inside column by usuing the pink crystal with the green heart.

Pretty Soldier Sailormoon S
This is another puzzle game for the SNES console. The game is Tetris-like in the sense that you are given a group of blocks that you must eliminate before your opponent does.  Once again, the characters are in the Superdeformed style, and this time, you can play as Tuxedo Kamen if you choose.  The nice thing about this game is that it has a challenging one-player time trial game.
SAILOR JUPITER'S SPECIAL MOVE:
Sparkling Wide Pressure This move turns your opponent's most commonly occuring blocks to silver blocks, which can only be destroyed using an arrowhead or star locket. Unfortunately, the blocks eventually turn back to their original colour, but it is nonetheless an effective move.

Pretty Soldier Sailormoon S Fighting Simulator
See the description/moves listed for the Super S fighting simulator.

Pretty Soldier Sailormoon SuperS "All Members Participation!! Contest for the Lead Part"
This SNES game is a Street Fighter II clone. This game is almost identical to the Sailormoon S fighting game (the moves are almost the same, but the graphics are much nicer.), except different music and more voice clips have been added, and you can now play as Sailorsaturn in the VS. mode.
SAILOR JUPITER'S SPECIAL MOVES:
Jupiter Coconut Cyclone: (Jump then E, SE, S + Strong Punch or Punch)
Jupiter Double Axil: (S, SE, E + Strong Kick or Kick)
You can control the direction of the double axil by pressing right or left after it is excuted. She cannot be hurt by projectiles while she is preforming this manuver.
Jupiter Oak Evolution: (S, SE, E, W + Strong Punch or Punch)
Giant Swing: (E, SE, S, SW, W, NW, N, NE + Strong Punch or Punch)
Grab: (E + Strong Punch.)
In the air grab: (While in air next to opponent press E + Strong Punch)
Reverse flash jump: (W, W)
This move is uesful when you need to jump out of the fight quickly.
Lightning Strike: (S, SW, W, SW, S, SE, E + Strong Punch)
This game is a desperation move, that can only be performed when Jupiter is panting, or when the clock is running out.

BONUS THING TO TRY:
You can change this game's story when resetting or turning on the machine.  Before powering up/resetting the game, hold down the L & R buttons on your controller and push down the Y button.  The story will now begin with Sailor Jupiter as the leader of the Sailor Scouts.   The opening titles will also change from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Super S to Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Jupiter Super S. You will see a close-up and quote from Jupiter when you do this trick.  (There are different buttons for different Senshi, but since this is a Sailor Jupiter site,  you'll have to find them elsewhere!)

Pretty Soldier Sailormoon R
This SNES game is a FInal Fight clone with a VS, fighting simulator tacked on to it.  This makes for a slightly shorter side scroller, but it's fun nonetheless.  In the side scroller two player mode, players have a joint attack:  they can throw each other at enemies.
SAILOR JUPITER'S SPECIAL MOVE:
(W, NW, N, S, and A button)
