Although no one knows exactly who he was, Mako-chan certainly thinks of him often (even in the battlefield!) Makoto is constantly comparing different men she encounters to him. "Senpai" is never actually seen, except as a hazy, shapeless figure in Mako-chan's thoughts. Whoever he was, he left a strong impression on her. |

Furuhata Motoki is an employee of the Crown Game Center. This "relationship" is completely one sided...Mako-chan lusts after him, but he has eyes only for his girlfriend, Reika. In the Manga (Act 6), Nephrite uses Mako's desire for Motoki...Mako mistakes Motoki's, (at that time possessed by the Ghost Bride) "energy drain" for love, enabling Nephrite to steal her energy. |

Game Joe
Mako-chan's first (anime) crush is one of the seven rainbow crystal carriers, and hence is gifted with telekinetic powers. This is a one sided crush, for even though Sailor Jupiter protects Joe from the Negaverse, he is less than grateful. |
| Asanuma
Asanuma is one of Mako-chan's best friends, and she fondly calls him, "Asanuma-chan". Asanuma, though, calls her "Makoto-san", or "Makoto-senpai". He accidentally heard Luna talking, also Mamoru and Usagi discussing about sudden appearances of villains. He told Mako-chan about what he had seen and heard, and since it was too late for a cover up, Mako-chan revealed the true identities of the scouts to him. |

Makoto gets to know Misha, an ice skater, because of her impressive skating ability. In the anime, Misha falls victim to Nephrite's evil powers. |

This is the name that Ail (the male Doom Tree Alien) takes when he disguises himself as a human. Because he started school at about the same time that the Moonlight Knight started appearing, Makoto was convinced that he was the Mysterious Knight, and tried to get close to him. |

Before learning that Haruka is actually a woman, Mako admits that she thought Haruka was a cute guy. Once she finds out that Haruka is actually a woman, this crush changes to mere admiration...Mako makes Haruka her role model, and tries to be like her. |
