Why set-up this web site?
I set up these pages because there is little else on the internet about
these organisations.
So you set up this site
to warn people?
No, I believe all these organisations are quite necessary, and I have
nothing but the greatest respect for the organisations and the people who
work for them.
I believe it is a shame that the organisations have not set up official
pages purely in the interest of PR (I would not expect any real information
to be decimanted on such pages). Rather like the US CIA and NSA pages.
How does someone contribute
to this site or contact you?
Drop me an email at sk@cc.umist.ac.uk
(If you are completely paranoid then check out the PGP
key). I welcome any sort of contribution, suggestion, or constructive
criticism. I can not promise to reply to your email - as I do recieve a
lagre quantity of mail - but your mail will be read.
All the information in
this site seems a little PG rated, where's the real inside information on
these organisations?
I have no idea, honest. I am just a private individual who has a passing
interest in these organisations. If I did know anything remotely classified
about these organisations (which I don't) then I certainly wouldn't be stupid
enough to publish it on the web (or tell you for that matter)!
Where do you get your information
from?
My information is largely gleaned from media reports, books and other public
domain sources supplement this. When I read an article involving any of
the organisations I simply summarise it and enter it appropiately... as
I've said before, don't expect any state secrets on this site, because you
won't find them! My primary sources are The
Telegraph and The Times
(two of the coolest sites in the UK!).
What browser should I use
to view these pages?
These pages are designed to work on Netscape 3.0 or Internet Explorer
3.0. They should also work on any browser which implements graphics, tables,
font sizes and colours. If your browser doesn't may I humbly suggest you
replace it with one of these...
Are these pages listed
in Yahoo!?
Certianly are, look under Regional:Countries:United
Kingdom:Government. But then why would you need to if you are reading
this sentence?
