Shape/shifters
was a cliched and predictable computer game which somehow almost resurrected
Marciano's dead career. It arrived along with a wave of poor CD-ROM games
featuring poor washed-up actors, but nevertheless launched Marciano back
into the semi-limelight. Marciano however let this success go too much
to his head and with the assistance of cult special effects man, Jerry
" The Bastard" O'Rourke, best known for his lovable puppet series
"Dinosaur Boyz" went on to produce a television series based
on the game, as seen above, in which Marciano played Lieutenant Blake Harrison.
The relationship between the alcoholic Marciano and the always fiery O'Rourke
was somewhat strained, but there was also a strange bond between the two
which led to some good, if unpopular, television. The series folded after
just one run, and sadly is unlikely to return, although there was some
talk last year of a possible Shape/Shifters film. The picture above, incidentally,
shows actor Ryder Goodman ( left, and below), who starred as Disabled Timmy
in the first two Street Walker films. One of Marciano's good friends, the
two work together as much as possible.
