Quite a surprising change from the previous opening title sequences. Episodes now begin with the recap from the previous day. Then there is a short instumental clip of the theme music while the Neighbours and Grundy logos are shown. The episode then continues with the first 'new' scene. Note: the instrumental theme was only used for a few weeks.
