The Vegeta Saga

Well I am going to be pretty brief with this saga because probably most of you have seen it in Cartoon Network.

The Series starts off with the arrival of Raditz, Goku's older Brother. Raditz comes to earth to see why Goku didn't kill everyone on earth when he was sent there years ago. Raditz first meets a farmer with a shotgun. After dispensing with the farmer Raditz checks his scouter to see who has the highest Power Level on the planet. Raditz does this because he thinks Goku would have the natural highest power level on the planet.

Raditz flies over to find Piccolo. Who is training to fight and beat Goku. Raditz introduces himself and Piccolo decides he doesn't like Raditz so Piccolo fires a blast at Raditz. Raditz is unaffected by the Blast and decides that he should kill Piccolo. Then Raditz's scouter blips and it is an event higher power level. Raditz fly towards the high Power Level.

Meanwhile Goku rescues Gohan form a tree branch and heads off to a reunion with his friends. Goku gets to Kame-sennin's house and introduces Gohan as his son. Every one is surprised. Then Raditz shows up and realizes that Goku is his brother Kakarot.

Raditz asks Goku how come he hasn't killed everyone on the planet yet. Goku tells Raditz that he has no ideal what Raditz is talking about. Raditz then explains to Goku what saiyans are and what they do. After this Raditz takes Gohan and tells Goku that he will not get his son back until he joins him.

Goku decides that he must fight Raditz and defeat him so the earth and Gohan will be safe. Kame-sennin and Kuririn offer to help, but then Goku reminds that they have already been wished back with the dragonballs.

Then Piccolo shows up and tells Goku that the only way Goku will win is if Piccolo fights with him. After agreeing not to fight each other until Raditz is defeated Goku and Piccolo fly off to fight Raditz. The Battle is pretty short it only lasts about 3 episodes. The Battle looks like Raditz will win until Raditz is about to kill Goku and Gohan breaks threw the saiyan space pod and smashes Raditz in the stomach. Goku then grabs Raditz from behind [for the second time. The first he let Raditz Go.] And Piccolo kills both Goku and Raditz.

Then Kuririn, Kame-sennin and Bulma show up. Piccolo announces that he will take Gohan and train him before the saiyans arrive on earth in 1 year’s time.

The training goes pretty quickly. Tenshinhan, Chouze, Yamacha, Kuririn, and Yajirobe [he doesn't do anything] trained Kame-sama's Lookout. While Gohan and Piccolo train by themselves. Goku travels down snake way and learns the art of Kaio-Ken from King Kai.

Then the saiyans arrive. Goku is wished back to later and will have to travel down snake way again to get to the battle. Meanwhile Piccolo, Gohan, Chouzu, Kuririn, Yamacha, and Tenshinhan are getting ready to fight the saiyans when the saiyans tell them that they have six Saibamen and that they want each saibaman to fight a Z Warrior. After thinking it over the Z Warriors agree because it will give Goku more time to get to the battlefield.

Tenshinhan is the first to square off against a saibiman. He pretty easily defeats the saibiman. Then Yamcha takes Kuririn place in the next battle [Kuririn wanted to fight after Tenshinhan but Yamcha reminded him that if he died he couldn't be wished back and that Yamacha could.] The battle is a dead even match until the saibiman uses a kamikaze attack killing the saibiman and Yamacha.

Kuririn now pissed off because Yamacha took his place and died does a huge blast that kills all the Saibamen but the saiyans are still alive. Nappa then tells Vegeta that he would like to fight and that there is know point in them both getting there uniforms dirty.

Nappa kills Chouzu [Chouzu tried to do a kamikaze but failed.] Then Nappa killed Tenshinhan. [Actually Tenshinhan ran out of energy so he died.]

Then Piccolo and Kuririn use a form of tri-form to spill themselves into three people. Nappa quickly knocks them back together. Then Piccolo tells Vegeta to wait until Goku arrives and then they will all pay. Vegeta thinking Goku might be Kakarot decides that they will wait 3 hours for Goku to arrive.

The 3 hours go by pretty quickly and nothing really happens [Nappa destroys the Navy of Earth.] Then the battle resumes. Gohan who by know as shaken his fear of the battle and is ready to fight.

Things go pretty well for the remaining Z Warriors, but when picks up Goku's power level he tells Nappa to finish them off now. Nappa agrees and first sets his eye on Gohan. Then Nappa fired a blast that would have killed Gohan, but Piccolo steps in front of Blast and kills him. Then Goku arrives on the battlefield.

Goku almost kills Nappa when he uses the Kaio-Ken attack on him [Nappa was going to kill Gohan and Kuririn] Then Vegeta destroys Nappa for being weak.

Now it is Goku and Vegeta's turn to fight. Goku tells Gohan and Kuririn to go home because Vegeta might use them against him. Then Goku leads Vegeta to an isolated spot and the battle begins.

The battle is fought on equal grounds both men being equally strong [When Goku uses the Kio-Ken attack.] Vegeta is injured and then decides he will go were-monkey, which will times his power level by 10. Vegeta uses an attack that simulates a Full Moon.

Gohan and Kuririn are heading back home when they see the bright light in the sky. Remembering that that is was Goku is Gohan and Krillin head off to help Goku.

Meanwhile back at the battle Goku uses Taioyken [Solar Flare] the blind Vegeta. He then charges up his most powerful attack the Geni-Dama [Spirit Bomb]

But Vegeta gets his eye site back and pummels Goku and he loses most of the Geni-Dama. Then Gohan and Kuririn arrive to see Vegeta in Were-Monkey Form. They formulate a plan there Gohan distracts Vegeta while Kuririn cuts off his tail.

The plan falls because Vegeta heard there attack from a mile away, but then Yajirobe [who was hiding from the battle] decides to be brave and Yajirobe cuts off Vegeta's Tail turning him back to normal form.

Gohan then squares off against Vegeta [Kuririn was almost K.O.ed with one hit.] Then Goku gives Kuririn the Geni-Dama to hurl at Vegeta.

Kuririn hurls the Geni-Dama at Vegeta but misses and then Gohan rebounds it and it hits Vegeta sending him flying.

The Z Warriors are rejoicing at their Victor when Vegeta falls back to earth. Then Goku tells Gohan to ook at the bright light in the sky. Gohan then transforms into Were-Monkey Form. Vegeta using his last strength manages to cut off Gohan's Tail but can't get out of the way as Gohan falls back to earth.

After being crushed by Gohan, Vegeta then calls his ship to the battlefield. Kuririn then picks up Yajirobe's sword and is about to kill Vegeta when Goku tells him not to.

Vegeta escapes in his saiyan space pod and the Gang rescues The Z Warriors.
The gang then flies off to Namek to gather the Dragonballs in a space ship that Kame-sama came to earth in. While Goku lays in the hospital.

Thus ends the Vegeta Saga.
