Jessica gives Will her decision about the baby. Ralph Senensky, a New York art dealer, shows an interest in Cristian's paintings. Roseanne convinces Mr. Senensky to have dinner with Cristian. Jessica and Cristian break up after she tells him that she is planning on keeping her baby. Dorian uncovers Viki's connection to Crossroads Bar. Blair urges Dorian to quit her vendetta against Viki, and tries to stop her from snooping around Viki's office. Dorian visits Crossroads Bar again, and hires Sophia to follow Viki and Ben. Joey accuses Max of taking advantage of Kelly. Joey voices his concerns about Kelly's behavior to Dorian. Viki and Ben grow closer as Viki opens up to Ben about her family. Viki and Ben celebrate Jessica's decision to keep her baby with a romantic dance at Crossroads. A salesman appears at the Crossroads Bar and catches a suspicious Ben by surprise. Ben asks Viki to keep their relationship a secret. Sam reveals to Viki what his connection is to Ben. Viki is upset to find her special gift from Ben missing. Ben comes to Bo's rescue. Kevin tries to find out information about his mother's love life. Sam shares a tense reunion with Ben, and gives his brother some advice about Llanview. Viki gets bad news from Ben. A sexy Lindsay surprises Bo in his hotel room and seduces him. Nora has to be sedated upon learning that Mathew has had a seizure. Dr. Larry gives Sam sad news … the baby may have a potentially fatal condition. Sam rushes off to inform Bo about Nora and the baby, only to find him in bed with Lindsay. Bo immediately rushes to Nora's side over Lindsay's protests. At the hospital Asa overhears Bo tell Nora that he still cares for her. Hoping that Bo and Nora will reconcile, Asa goes to Lindsay and warns her to stay away from Bo. Nora tells Sam that she has renewed hope for her marriage, because of the way Bo rushed to her side. Sam remains silent about Bo and Lindsay's tryst, and agrees to give Nora some space. Bo returns to his hotel room after Mathew's condition improves. Lindsay's feeling of abandonment turns to anger when Bo tells her that he needs time alone to think, and asks her to leave. Despite Sam's warning to keep her mouth shut, Lindsay wastes no time taunting Nora that Sam found her and Bo in bed together. Reluctantly, Sam confirms her story. Bo tries to sort out his feelings for Nora, while Nora decides she can't forgive Bo's indiscretion with Lindsay. Bo is involved in an accident. R.J. spots Tea and Sykes out on the town together. Sykes tells Tea that Todd's special key opens a bus station locker. Tea decides to use the key. | ||||||||||||||||

On February 19, William J. Mckeon, III plays the role of Jake, a truck driver who comes onto Viki (Erika Slezak). Charissa Chamorro has been cast in the recurring role of Sophia Sophia, a waitress who works at the Crossroads bar, beginning February 16. The news story that Mel was working on will have something to do with Ben, who is very closely related to an important person in Llanview. The code name "Hamlet" plays a part in this mystery, and there's a possibility that Mel's plane was sabotaged. This is just the beginning of what will prove to be a very exciting storyline! Viki finds herself drawn to a mysterious stranger named Ben (Mark Derwin, see photo), a handsome, sexy bartender who was once a professional, and who may be hiding a criminal past. Dorian becomes deeply involved in the mysteries surrounding Ben, the new man in Viki's life. Tea finds herself caught between the affections of John Sykes and RJ. Kelly embarks on a journey. Lindsay does her best to help Bo adjust to life without Nora, while Nora relies more and more on Sam. Nora becomes increasingly concerned about Sam's mysterious behavior. Feeling neglected by Jessica and Will, Cristian and Roseanne look to each other for comfort. Blair job at the Banner continues to put her at odds with the Buchanans. Dorian and Viki re-ignite their long-standing feud. Jessica will have mixed feelings throughout her pregnancy about what she should do regarding her unborn baby. Extreme circumstances cause Jessica and Will to reevaluate their plans for the baby. Will struggles to find a place in the baby's life, while trying to deal with the shock of his father's deception. Pressure mounts on Viki as she struggles to help each of her children with their problems, and run The Banner without Clint. In time Viki will have to face her own problems. Tea, whose life has been in turmoil, will emerge from under Todd's shadow, and her life choices, particularly about men, will be explored. Some real, romantic love stories for many of the characters will be introduced in the near future. Executive producer, Jill Farren Phelps stated "We may only root for certain people to be together as other people come into their lives, but our goal is that there will a romance and love story where there hasn't been in just about every corner, and in every age group." | ||||||||||||||||
