Once upon a time there was a very special designer, called Leonardo. He Lived in
Italy a long time ago. He invented a gold machine......

Eddie 'the Hudson Hawk' is released from prison, and as he does is asked by his
parole officer, Gates to do a robbery.

Eddie refuses,
|
but then after a confrontation with the Mario Brothers he is forced to agree to do
the burglary with his best friend, Tommy Five Tone.

They successfully steal the "Sforza", a priceless bronze sculpture by da
Vinci, only to find the following day that it is being auctioned.

At the auction house Anna Baragli verifies the piece as authentic, much to Eddie's
surprise. The Mayflowers make the highest bid, whereupon the statue, along with the
auctioneer, is blown up.

Eddie is taken by the Mario brothers in an ambulance, but manages to escape.
|
 |
 |
He immediately meets the  CIA,
with George Kaplan in charge. After exchanging pleasantries (okay, they pound on
him for a while) they take him to Rome (How did he get out of the locked box?)
|
He is then introduced to the Mayflowers, who tell him to steal da Vinci's
sketchbook from the Vatican.

He achieves this only to be caught by Anna.
|
He then refuses to rob the Louvre, and escapes with Tommy.
|
 |
 |
but the Candy Bars carry out the robbery and then the CIA and the Mayflowers have
all three parts to a gold machine invented by Leonardo da Vinci. Kit Kat and Butterfingers
take Anna off to the Castle da Vinci while Almond Joy and Snickers are left behind to get
rid of the now expendable Eddie and Tommy.

Meanwhile at the Castle da Vinci,the Mayflowers are trying to force Anna
to put the parts together to make a crystal.

Having left Snickers with a bad headache, and AJ learning that you should never
dart a nun, Eddie and Tommy arrive to save the day.
|
 |
Eddie cunningly manages to dispense with Kaplan, but Tommy unfortunately ends up
in a fiery automotive inferno. Having been captured, Eddie puts the crystal together, but
manages to keep a small piece so that it malfunctions. This results in the deaths of
Darwin and Minerva, and Eddie and Anna are ready to escape.

Unfortunately they must still deal with Alfred the butler, and Bunny Mayflower. It
seems that Alfred has no head for a fight, and Bunny
just can't resist those ball balls.

They escape on da Vinci's flying machine

They are reunited withTommy.
