Felt like walking among the mortals for a little while after work. Went down to visit Bookworm and I finally broke down and bought the Goo Goo Dolls. I fucking love that song “Slide.” In fact, I’m playing it over and over again right now. I believe my carpet is officially sick of hearing it already.
Saw a hella lotta people tonight. I swear to God, that place is a freaking nightclub already. It was pretty fun hanging out with Bookworm. Just like old times, we spent most of the time harassing Berry Girl. We have this thoroughly irritating routine. One of us pokes the tickle spot on her side and when she turns to slap, the other pokes her in the other side.
I’m the most immature sonavabitch alive.
Also saw someone I dated for a millisecond. I honestly love it when people like that are around. I used to feel a tad uncomfortable but now I realized that the other person is just as uncomfortable and it gives me a certain gratification in making others for whom I have hostility towards uncomfortable. Was that sentence grammatically correct? Do I give a flying fuck?
I saw Michael for a split second but he kicked me in the balls and told me to fuck off so I left him alone.
Little does he realize, I’m gonna get My Watch soon and it’s gonna make his look like toy you can get out of a gum ball machine.
The coolest thing about visiting Bookworm is I always leave with free stuff. Tonight I scored myself a copy of An Instance Of The Fingerpost by Iain Pears. I’m a bit intimidated by that book. The words are smaller than bacteria and it’s 735 pages. But then I got it free so if I don’t manage to finish, I don’t have to feel bad about losing $7.99 plus tax.
What I did seriously waste money on was a cassette single. I’m gonna level with you. I like the Mariah Carey remake of that Brenda K. Starr song, “I Still Believe.” So I bought the single cause I refuse to buy an entire album of Mariah. So I pop it into my cassette deck and all this dance crap starts coming out. Hello? Turns out, the cassette is all remixes. I want my fucking money back. Serves me right for buying Mariah fucking Carey.
I heard when she came down, Mariah Carey was all mad her concert didn’t sell out in one day and she said it was cause Hawaiians were stupid, fat, and lazy and that’s why they didn’t want to stand in line for tickets. Umm, is that one helluva good way to ask for a couple slaps or what?
I waterdanced with Bubba today. I am Michael Flatley, Lord Of The Dance.
It’s official! Sony Pictures has got through the big legal mess and secured the rights to make Spider Man the Movie! Whee! Done right, this is gonna kick so much fucking ass.
First, James Cameron has to fucking do it but he recently said that he doesn’t really want to spend time on a project that he didn’t initially create. Well, is Mr. King Of The World getting too big for his boat? Asshole. I also heard all kinds of rumors on who’s gonna be Peter Parker/Spider Man. Leonardo DiCaprio and Ben Affleck pops up the most. I say they should go with Ben Affleck although he better start lifting weights or steroids or something. When Cameron was involved, in addition to Leonardo fucking DiCaprio, I heard the old bag version of Rose was gonna be Aunt May and the villain was gonna be Doctor Octopus and Schwarzenegger was gonna play him. Uh, okay, whatever, I can kinda live with that. All things considered, Schwarzenegger was kinda cool as Mr. Freeze. It was the screenplay writer who didn’t give him anything cool to say. Plus, I saw this commercial for Universal Studios and those CGI tentacles on Doctor Octopus looked pretty cool. Imagine what they can do with a $100 million budget.
I still would’ve liked them to start off with the Green Goblin.
The latest script rumor has the main villain being Electro and a henchmen villain being Sandman. Big fucking mistake. No more of that two villain thing that Batman started. Two villains just make a big mess. Pick one guy and stick with him
I wonder if Kitsune’s gonna do the font for that one. No wait. Spider Man already has a pretty recognizable title logo.
